The Quality of Staff Applications

Ok, I know there is another post that is similar to this. But here, I'll try to show you guys how to make a good/decent staff application.
First, I've noticed that the quality of staff applications is going down. I don't think the admins want to waste all of their time locking horrible staff applications. For instance, look at these two moderator applications.

The first one is an application that was posted very recently. (from when I posted this) The second application was posted by _The_Ender_Boss_, who is now part of the staff. Seriously. While Ender actually bothered to put time and effort into his answers, mike didn't even put a single answer down. He said this instead.

The quality of moderator applications is going down. It needs to go back up, for the sake of chickenputty's sanity.

Let me show you guys how to make a good and bad mod application.
Multiplayer Servers Mod Application:

Alright, time to get started on a new moderator application!
Are you active and helpful on our servers, forums, and Teamspeak? -
Good: Yes, I am very helpful and active on the servers, forums, and Teamspeak. When I am on the servers, I try to help the newer people with various questions, like questions about buying guns, how the server works, etc. I also try my best to report any hackers, advertisers, racism, etc. on the servers. On the forums, I report rule breakers, as well as respond to a lot of forum posts, help newer people, and similar things like that. I have over 200 posts, and I help people as often as I can. I prefer Skype over Teamspeak, although I will try my best to use it, and help newbies there, as well.

Bad: yes
Which server are you applying for? -
This one should be very simple. Just say the server that you're applying for.
Good: MC-WAR; MC-WARZ; MCBRAWL, etc.
Bad: yes
How old are you? -
This is also simple and straightforward. Tell the staff your true age.
Good: I am (age) years old.
Bad: i'm 22 years old #YOLO #SWAG
What time zone are you in? -
If you don't know your time zone, then do a quick Google search. That should be impossibly easy. If you can't answer this question well, then you shouldn't be staff.
Good: I live in the Central Time Zone, in the USA.
Bad: arizona time
Experience with Minecraft and Moderating (If you are going to list servers, provide proof):
It's ok to tell the truth! If you've never moderated before, it's totally ok! I never moderated before MC-WAR, and I got accepted! Get more personal on this question, and try to make it long and detailed. Think of it as an expository or something.
Good: I have been playing Minecraft since 1.2.5. I first heard of the game on the Internet, and I begged my parents to buy me it. They did buy me the game, and ever since I got the game, I loved it. I first heard of MC-WAR while I was looking on the MC PvP website, and as soon as I tried it, I was addicted! I love playing on this server whenever I can, and I always receive warm welcomes! While I haven't ever moderated for a server before, I believe that I am mature enough for the task of moderating a large server like this.
Bad: im a admin on 192.168.1.256 and im an mod on my friends server
That's not even a real IP. Really.

What do you feel that you will provide to the server?
In my opinion, this one is a little bit harder. Try not to sound generic, and again, put personal details into it.
Good: As you guys should know by now, I spend a lot of time both on the servers and on the forums. Whenever someone asks for help, I give them help. I also report rule breakers, because I'm sure no one likes rule breakers. With the rank of Moderator, I believe that I will be able to help MC-WAR even more. I will try my best to help new players, because I love helping new people. I will try my best to moderate the server effectively and keep advertisers, hackers, spammers, and other unpleasant people off the server while keeping the atmosphere fair for others.
Bad: i will provide fun and help

Situation: A player is out of the map on MC-WAR. What are the steps that you would take to ensure that this player is properly dealt with?
Think carefully. What would you do if you found a rule breaker on your server? (Griefing without permission) And remember that you might be accepted for moderator, so remember that you have those powers.
Good: First, I would warn him to get back in the map. If the out of map person can't get back in (maybe he was shot out of the map), I would tell him to do /spawn, /war leave then /war join, relog, break a block, etc. If he doesn't comply, I would kick him off the server. If he does this more than 3 times, I would temporarily ban him from the servers and talk to the admins about him. I would also see if he parkoured out of the map, or if he used hacks (in that case, request the admins to immediately ban him)
Bad: i would very kindly ask him to get back in teh map. if he says nu, then i would warn him 3 timez. if he doesnt listen, then i would report him and tell the admins to ban him.


Other:
This is for you to insert more information about yourself. Try to tell everyone about any abilities, like knowing more than 1 language! Try to make it kind of long, though! (not way too long, a few sentences will be fine)
For the good one, I will insert an excerpt from Dwarfiest's application for MC-WAR moderator.
Good: I started playing on the mc-war servers around 9-11 months now and I have been very active since then. I've managed to reach over 50,000 kills in this time and have met a lot of nice players and staff. My goal was to become one of the top twenty players in the world on the servers and I still try to reach that goal today. I am currently rank 26 in the world and continue to play more. I usually spend over 7 hours a day on the servers either it be mc-war or mc-brawl. and I am starting to become more active on the other servers such as WarZ which I have started a series on with ninepancakes. I am also friends with a lot of staff and have over 10 staff members on skype such as: Lloyd_Batty, CraftyLumberjack, chickenputty, orange451, thebmanswan541, ninepancakes and many others.
Bad: i luv this server, and i hope im accepted for it!!! #YOLO #SWAG

Do you realize if you are not respectful and helpful towards the players you will be demoted? -
Do you know all the rules, plugins, and expectations? -
The two questions above are very straight forward, as well. Like the question about being active, you can add more detail, though you could just say something shorter, like Yes, I know this and I will try my best to be respectful and helpful, etc.

Quality of staff applications needs to go up. It's getting annoying now, seeing all the bad applications...
