    Ok I realize that there has been a recent thread kinda similar to this here

    I really think its getting annoying. Like every New AdvBuilder (not all) all they do is use shout to host these stupid skin competitions. Like everyday I get on I see the chat spamming with "Tp to come to Skin Comp" ect.I have asked them to stop but usually they just keep saying it. I find this very annoying I know some people out there do too. In the thread above I know its says to ignore them or turn of chat, but like some people I like to talk to other builders and I can't do that with chat turned off. Also I like to help people if they have any questions or need help with anything and I sure can't do that when I have ignored them. I would like a solution for this without have to deal with the spam.

    Thats all I have to say I would love to hear some input.

    Just ignore them. If you are building chances are you shouldn't beating attention to the chat but paying attention to the build. If not like I suggested, try ignoring the chat so you do not become annoyed.

    Trust me I like building and I do get focused but I like to talk to people to like I said above.

    I do not like to ignore people, because what if they need help from me but I can't see there messages because I ignored them? I love helping people.

    Same I like helping people to but if I just try not pay any attention to them then the chat will be filled with pointless crap and I hate that cause I watch the chat alot. I don't want to completely ignore them because they may have a question or need help I could provide.

    I don't need to report, just change the chat filter and make it so that Skin comps, Skin Contest -e.c.t are not allowed to be said. That's all I freaking want ok!?!? If you're so concerned about them, make a flippin' skin comp server for people that love skin comps, NOT ON CREATIVE.

    Honestly. It isn't a big deal. You can easily ignore them and they aren't allowed to spam it. If you can ignore the joining/leaving Messages then you can easily ignores those and just talk to your friends.

    Sooo... Is it illegal to do akin comps now? Because there is no point in banning them. If you truly want to focus on building turn off the chat. If you say you want to chat with your friends your not really focusing now are you? Anyways you can just ignore them if you really don't want to turn off the chat. If your truly focused you can just zone it out.

    You could turn multiplayer chat off in your settings. If you still want to see messages but not be bothered from it then change the size from large/auto to small.

    I know but really "we will talk to them" means that they will warm them and talk about stuff like banning. Or what else would they say? They might say don't do that as much, but if they don't stop the outcome will still be the same.

    Ok because Dasky said "We will talk to them" doesn't suggest that they would ban or warn about a ban. More than likely they would just ask nicely for them to stop or tell them not to spam the chat as much.

    It's not and is never going to be a rule against skin competitions. It's okay for players to have skin competitions as long as they don't advertise it too much. 1-2 times is enough, but if they advertise more then report this player to a Creative Manager and we will talk to him. Advertising more than 2 times is considered as spam.
    We will not create an extra server for players to host skin competitions in, because they will keep to the server where there are most people online. Turn off your chat if you find this annoying.
    No, it's not illegal to host skin competitions. It's okay as long as they don't advertise too many times (1-2 times is enough).
    If they advertise too many times then it's considered as spam.

    They are constantly spamming it

    If we turn off chat we can't help other people out and chat with friends, if we /ignore them then if they ask for help we won't know!

    Well turning off your chat and/or ignore is the only thing you can do if you don't want to hear spam.
