Will mc-war shut down!!!???

    After reading this: http://forums.bukkit.org/threads/bukkit-its-time-to-say.305106/
    that essentialy says bukkit server providing wont update any further and is shuting down because of the eula. and so all servers using it will stay on 1.7.10 -
    What will happend to mc-war!? will it be outdated or it will shut !?!

    Mojang owns bukkit and will update it.

    read that, but it wont be the same, as they claimed there will be some changes to makew it more "origianl"

    Mojang knows what will be added to minecraft and can work on bukkit right away. This will give them some times to maybe improve bukkit.

    you are right but again, it wont be the same! thwy will change features and some plugin stuff if i understood well :/

    Mojang are not stupid, Bukkit will be still there and be updated as usal.

    mabe but as they said it wont be the same, dont know what changes to expect and bcause im a dev myself i worry oif they change the api or the way plugins operate or even the things plugins can do, (Mojang always had problems with bukkit sending custom packets to the clients and people messing with them and doing cool stuff like spawning particles or forcing player respawn and so on) thats why i asked.
    ofcaurse they are not! i am not saying they are, i only worried of what those planed "changes" will be, the above post explains further. Also think of loosing the bukkit comunity with stuff, tutorials, apis helpfull classes and plugin development support forums, this will close as well once sponsorship wil stop and its a recourcefull page soo :-( only thinking the time and effort put there by me and all other developers... :frowning: :frowning: :frowning:
    Soo im not calling them stupid or anything but im showing my concern on what will hapend if my nightmares come true (they do most of the time irl)

    the above posts explain my concern. thanks for reply =) i realy apriciate it even if im marked with negative votes and "late".
    Offtopic:
    why everytime i post something i get negavie posts even if people admit it is usefull or true? are those people from my signature or is it a type of harassment?

    Well Mojang also have a custom Bukkit site setup although I do not recall the name sadly.

    Even if Bukkit is gone due to the recent DCMA issue, there's always Mojang's official API to think about.
    However, you're pretty late on the news.

    So there are several things happening.
    1. With the EULA, all players must receive an equal playing experience. That means no game effecting donor items. Aesthetic items like hats are allowed.
    2. Bukkit was originally getting shut down because it violated the EULA, but Mojang stated that they would update it.
    3. The creator of Bukkit took down Bukkit, stating that Mojang doesn't have permission to use its source code. Basically if Mojang updates it they're violating copyright and they'll have to go to court.
