    They wanted to make an official API for modding and servers.

    Sounds like crap, but it's all they got if Bukkit wins their case.

    mojang does not own bukkit but there are mojang team members in the craftbukkit team like dinnerbone but any ways lets get back on topic

    According to Mojang they own it, but according to the Bukkit devs they don't.

    Just shoot them all with an L120. God. Miniguns also solve all the problems.

    If bukkit is patented and all that crap Mojang can only stop them from updating it. Mojang will have server moding stuffies whenever they get around to not clicking levers like they do in all the youtube videos.

    EvilSeph did say bukkit will stop and admits Mojang owns it but as Mojang owns Bukkit Dinerbonne has said he is continuing bukkit himself
