    The minor update only allows 1.8 users to join; doesn't let them use their blocks, as it would crash 1.7 users.

    Seems like it always happens during a major update. The team should do a root cause analysis to determine how it happened (what crashed) and how to prevent the servers from going down in the future (during updates).

    What is the ETA on enforcing 1.8 on creative? i want/need the new blocks

    I don't think you can be a map in minecraft :stuck_out_tongue: you can build one though :wink:
