As most of you know already, then 1.8 minecraft update bans any donating for an advantage in game, or pay to win. The owner of the McBrawl Network, Chickenputty does have enough money saved to keep the servers running, but I fear after a few months he will realize there is no point in paying hundreds of dollars a month, to keep a server in a soon dying game, alive. The only way to play on, and keep, your beloved McBrawl Network is to make Mojang here your voice! This is one of the multiple petitions for removing the new EULA rules. http://www.change.org/p/mojang-change-your-eula Please sign it and help reverse "The Update That Ruined Minecraft".

Almost forgot that Mojang is trying to almost "replace" servers with Realms, if you haven't heard of them, click here https://minecraft.net/realms basically it is a $13/month for a 10 player server, that only 20 players are invited to! That is very expensive! https://ggservers.net/minecrafthosting.html That is a link to a website that offers $12 for 48 players, and EVERYONE can join! There are no plugins in Realms, just about 5 games that will get boring after 20 minutes.

It's in alphabetical order. Chaploo is the owner.

Now let me state my opinion on this.
This is a very biased post.
The EULA isn't going to kill Minecraft servers, that's stupid of them to do.
The EULA states that donations are not allowed. However, in their announcements, Mojang stated that donations were allowed as long as they do not affect gameplay in any way. That means aesthetics only.
Since many servers run off aesthetic items already in addition to their normal donations, this means they can still make money.
This has been in the EULA since near the beginning of its creation, too. Only now has it actually been enforced.
This will take many servers that rely on pay to win down, but servers that can run off aesthetic donations will survive.
I personally like the EULA as it removes pay to win, although it's a little restricting.
You should understand that the EULA isn't intended to take down Minecraft servers. It is intended to remove the pay to win. And that is good.
Sorry, did not see that. However, Chaploo is the sole owner.
You can PM chickenputty asking about it, and he will tell you Chaploo is the owner. Putty is like a head admin.

Chaploo is the owner, Chickenputty is the head-admin. And I'm pretty sure I've seen somewhere before on the forums that there is enough money for McBrawl to keep running for several months before closing down. There is a cosmetics update coming and more stuff that we will be able to donate for.
    Have faith. :V

So everyone is just going to pay $10 to buy a cat to follow them in the hub.... No, cosmetic items are not popular, And even if some people do buy cosmetic items, there is no way it is going to be able to keep up with the server cost

I do think cosmetic items will be quite popular.
Let's look at Hypixel - you can fly, have a colored name, have pets, etc in the hub if you donate. And they're quite successful.
This is precisely why Minecraft's community is crap. If you don't get something that gives you an advantage if you donate, you don't donate. That's a crap community right there.
    And to answer your question.
No, not everyone. Because not everyone can donate.
But yes, for the majority of the donors. It makes you special, so...

.... Chickenputty is the head admin and Chaploo is the owner..... And we have cosmetic upgrades such as trails and pets and some new stuff ingame

Hypixel sells a $200 pet and people buy it.... They also pay wayyyyy over priced pets and other things in hypixel that we will soon add.

I don't know if this is a troll or something.... But it's just pretty stupid :/

Well, when you buy that pet for $200 you will actually get your name in one of their maps

Either way, doesn't affect gameplay. It only makes your name more well known.

    That's not my point.
    Minecraft's community is currently crap.
But eventually they'll change, as if they don't change, they lose their favorite servers.

    I knew that

Gonna go ahead and say this thread was extremely biased and didn't have sufficient research done beforehand.
I suggest you read the articles about the EULA, and think about exactly how this would actually affect servers.
Did not see your edits, my apologies.

Look, the EULA is supposed to make the servers less pay2win. You see McWar right now? I'm assuming 15% of the population own donor weapons, the OP weapons that bully the younger players. If Brawl won't survive the EULA, then neither will any other server in Minecraft.
