Texture Pack Problem!

    Hey guys ummm I like really want a texture pack and when I went to the resource pack forum section I downloaded some. But all it bring me to is a folder with 3 files ( assets, pack ( which is a picture ), and pack.mcmeta). Can someone help me on how I can use the resource pack? Thanks

    Don't open it.
    Put the file in directly.

    Put the .zip file in the Resource Packs folder. That's all.
    Then go to Resource Pack's in your Minecraft menu and select the resource pack you'd like to use.

    Copy the entire thing then (for a Mac) go to library>application support>minecraft (folder)>recorcepacks and paste it there.

    There are 2 kinds of files people use for texture packs, zipped and unzipped.
    Zipped packs usually have 2 folders when you open them, and you want to drag the one at the top. If it is unzipped and just has the assets folder and a picture of whatever, drag it straight into the resource pack folder.

    On Windows, Go to Start. Type %appdata% and hit Enter, then go into .minecraft, you'll see a folder named "resourcepacks".
    Put the downloaded packs into that folder. You can then load up the packs in-game.

    You just drag the file directly in either way unless it's screwed up?

    Looks like everything was solved.
    Follow these two if you ever have trouble with texture packs. Take the whole texture pack file and stick it in the resourcepack folder and boom.
    Requesting a lock, everything resolved.
    didn't realize this wasn't warz woops

    Some people make their texturepacks to be zipped, so you download the zipped file then you have to drag the actual folder into your resourcepacks section.
