That's a glitch that only code can fix, and we're not 100% sure of the issue.

You're saying we don't ban hackers or alters? We ban everyone mainly based off reports. If you want hackers banned? Report them. Also, we've banned multiple alts of banned players. You guys may tell us that someone is an alt, but without legit proof nothing will be done.

So Moderators aren't allowed to have fun? No one would apply. Plus, what happens when an enemy logs on? Do they log? Doesn't seem logical. Moderators like to play WarZ, that's why they applied.

Because we can get rid of them with the snap of our fingers. Keep your IP safe and you're fine.

I think when he says do more moderating is that when someone pms them thst theres a hacker on they tp or something and do a little work and maybe report to superior staff, otherwise its just writing an essay for free mvp and a special nametag color

 

Mods don't have the power to ban hackers on the spot. All warz are capable of currently is moderation of spammers, flamers and people who make public ddos or dox threats.

We don't ban unless there is definitive proof that it was timer, and not sugar. A slight boost in movement speed isn't a 100% indication of timer, and we don't ban based on probable cause.

If you have problems with internet security, you just have to be careful. Don't join any skype calls with people you don't trust, and if you have to, then use a proxy or a VPN. If you are afraid your ip is on the list of someone who might do you harm, then call you ISP and ask for an ip change. There is a complete thread on internet security here.

 

I much prefered it when i was a noob, a CZ550 was the best thing in the world. You didn't get DDOS threats when you actually got kills. And people actually said GG, Also, the good players were still around and i agree. BRING BACK THE GUN DAMAGE!

Exactly, For example munkeywr3nch is the worst at this, i PM him saying i have something i need to tell him about on TS, hes clearly online. NOT In a fight bc i have just killed him. and he logs. EVERY TIME.

I almost never see moderators preform their duty and just decide to play WarZ with free VIP and a purple name. I've seen literally 4 of Security's mods on and none of them have decided to calm down a rager because they were "fighting".
I need to see the mods step their game or else I'm going to start thinking that several mods need a demotion.

 

I can't agree with you anymore Chongis. Why don't the admins just snap their fingers and have all the hackers gone! It's ridiculous.

 

What is old WarZ? Old WarZ is the WarZ that will NEVER happen. We went down the crap hole and we can't get out. There are so many hackers, trash talkers, and other nuisances that make WarZ hell. Old WarZ was good, but it can't come back. Unless they whitelist WarZ to friendly members... Anyways, Old WarZ was great, with a good community and good members. I want it back, but it will NEVER happen.

 

I remember the old warz is where I met all of my main warz friends. WarZ is where everything began!

This is kind of off-topic, but why do moderators PM someone instead of stating it in chat? Players don't know if a moderator is doing their job, and if the player continues then people think that staff is doing things wrong, not the player. If the player seems like they don't know they are doing something wrong, they should get a PM, but if they know they are breaking the rules (spamming and such) then the mods should just straight up tell them to quit it. This would let everyone see that the moderators are doing their jobs, and not just ignoring everyone because they are in a fight.

 

I agree. It shows the community that staff members are doing their job. If a new player joins and sees someone flaming and eventually leave, they'll think that player was raging and just rage quit. But if a moderator was to warn the player publicly and show members of the community that the staff does their job, the new member would know he was kicked.

 

I agree with this.
I always disagreed with the staff system of PM'ing players. It may be more professional, but McBrawl is at a point where if the staff member says nothing, it seems like they do nothing.
Honestly, I'd rather have the staff look a little unprofessional and at least show that they're warning people, as opposed to staying silent and looking even more unprofessional since it seems like they're not doing a thing.
If staff can't publicly warn, they should at least tell everyone that they warned said user via PM. It lets us know that the staff are doing their jobs, not ignoring us.
