microsoft bought minecraft

Heres to hoping that they dont ruin Mojang like they did to Rare :<

 

Two billion dollars - put that amount of money into perspective, if I were Notch, I'd accept that.

 

I wouldn't, because if you be patent you can make more then that if you it. And notch doesn't own minecraft anymore Jeb does.

 

I think it's that jeb_ develops it (not owns it), I'm lead to believe Notch still has intellectual property over Minecraft.

 

Notch still has property but he stepped down and gave the owner ship to Jeb.

Isn't that EA?

 

This is what I hope happens if Microsoft ends up buying mojang:
- Jeb_ makes Minecraft into its own company
- Microsoft doesn't touch or go near Minecraft

And that's it....

 

And the big one they get rid of Minecraft for Mac

 

Well, minecraft is F***ED. So are all the youtubers that make a living on making minecraft videos. Microsoft will make it a huge charge for multiplayer, skins, and updates. We might also want to kiss mods and plugins goodbye, as they will eliminate those. If microsoft buys mojang, we might as well all kiss goodbye to brawl and minecraft being fun in general. Then we will all convert to other things like real cod, real dayZ, real mario party and all of those other ripoffs.

That or microsoft will be smart and keep minecraft very similar, at most charging a small update fee on certain updates.

 

RIP Minecraft.

 

And if luck is WAYYYY UP they might change Eula!

 

Into an EULA that will make sure microsoft will get all donations or a part of it. :/

Well, it's been a decent run.

They have turned down huge offers (Not as huge as this) but this will most likely be treated like another offer and passed.

 

They've pretty much gone through with it already.
