McWar: Servers vs the Forums community

This is true but in specific cases they do deserve their negative ratings. Not listing names.

But there are some exceptions c:

 

As RLH said, there are instances in which the player deserves the ratings, both positive and negative, but both the server and the forums have their own advantages.

 

Forums community is significantly better.

Average server 2 chat -

But yeah overall the community on the forums is better than the community ingame. Let's just not talk about ingame.
Pretty stupid, considering everyone is from the now-crap War community anyways.

A pretty simple explanation to explain this phenomenon. Basically, the in-game community is filled with more newbies, who think that what is described above is an elite pro (their expectations are much lower). This is because they don't see this is a typical occurrence among many other players who show screenshots of these on the forum daily.

Contrary to the servers, the forum is filled with more mature, older players who have more experience on what constitutes as skill.

To put it, most forumers have a different POV from the newbies in-game as what skill is. The fact that the more of the younger community stays in-game while more of the older community talks outside of the game shows us that the older players have seen what the community is really like, unlike in-game where it's hard to express the community through the chat.

This could be me.... high level, high kdr, liked on the server but disliked on the forums because I always "spam the crossbow.

 

I wasn't going to list names... but some of your comments deserved to either be deleted or have atleast 20 dislikes.
I remember one time you said to guy "I have 160k kills Porkchops and you'll never get that because you're ****"

 

Hmm. Well this is 100% correct. But seriously ingame is far more worse than the forums.

Well. Bragging is hated by pretty much everyone on the forums as it is filled mostly by experienced and mature players. Whilst newbies dont mind if some guy is being an absolute dick as long as they have good stats. And if some 100+ comes to the forums with that bad ingame attitude, he/she get hate. Its the newbies and idiotic "PRO's" that like the 100+ dick, and the servers are filled with these kind of players mostly. The forums however, are not. Thats why they get hated on the forums, but not ingame. Its also MUCH easier to hate people on the forums because there is the ratings system and a post is seen much more than a chat message.

 

Luckily enough some players on the forums don't have the mentality of the guys in-game. In-game people are just stupid and will call you all kind of names while on the forums there is very little hate.

Ray is an art :V and this happens to me all the time...... But honestly..... I like it.... A lot....

 

to sum this up: The war server community is made mostly of arrogant players, c bow and ray gun spammers, mini gun spammers, disrespectful players, and rule breakers. Its sad but war is becoming a piece of shat.

 

It became more than a piece of shat a long time ago.
