gun question

This depends on your preference.
I will, however, list the most favorable guns of each weapon class for all gamemodes and maps from best to worst.

Assault rifles/carbines:

1. Skullcrusher
2. FAMAS
3. Lamentation/AK-47
4. M16/M4A1

Sniper rifles:

1. Isolator/Disassembler/MSR
2. Dragunov, L118A/Barrett

Shotguns:

1. Model 1887
2. Typhoid
3. AA-12, SPAS-12, SPAS-24
4. M1014

SMGs:

1. UMP-45, P90
2. MP7, PP-90M1
3. MAC-10

Pistols:

1. Python
2. Desert Eagle
3. M9, Executioner
4. Magnum
5. USP .45

Donor weapons:

1. Minigun
2. Crossbow/Ray Gun
3. Flamethrower
4. LAW

It does depend on that style play you have. If you like to rush, you may use a shotgun, or and SMG. If you like to stay back, then a sniper would be a good choice and also if you like to not be too far back, but not on the front line, the best gun to use is an automatic, such as the SkullCrusher.

Simple: You can't let new players running around with isolators do you ? So there is a certain level achieve before that. The more you level up the more your guns are good.

 

Which is a crap system after a bit but yeah

 

To be honest, the amount of people I see who are now level 36 is unbelieveable. Back in the day, it would actually be a rare sighting to see someone prestige.

 

Imagine when donor guns will be available for everybody.... Noobs in infect with ray guns = #farming
