Glitch Water Hunger glitch

    Ok, while playing Hydro_Tdm I noticed that whenever I entered water holding down my forward key while sprinting, I would continue to lose hunger as if I was sprinting.

    Yeah... I had this happen too...
    If i let go I kept losing hunger because I was getting swept in the current. But if I fought the current, and stopped moving, I stopped losing hunger.
    I tried this a bit ago off the edge of a cliff in hydro and i kept falling down and kept losing hunger, I went afk for like 10 seconds and came back and I'd lost more hunger...

    Dem 1.8 bugs...

    That's because you were still sprinting. That's a Minecraft mechanic.
    When you sprint in water you move slightly faster, therefore you lose hunger as normal.

    But I stopped sprinting, and it probably thought I was still moving...

    SO far what I have checked, it happens with all versions.

    I WAS using 1.7.9 the first time it happened, then it kept happening when I changed to 1.8
    Yet again, this is probably the only 1.8 glitch that isn't an issue, we have bigger ones to fix, like for instance the minigun does -8 damage ;-;

    Did you stop sprinting when you entered the water? If yes, did you keep receiving the hunger loss after?

    This sounds like a terrible glitch for when dday opens up again.... Anyways great find :wink:

    I did stop sprinting. But the glitch is that I don't stop losing hunger.
