All servers are based in Canada...
Well, you don't see us from Europe complaining.
    Fix your internet connection, maybe?

since australia is pretty big and the cities are scattered we need to:
1: find a good spot to put the router (or whatever you need to run the server. i am not the best in internet connection :V)
2: pay for it (wich may cost quite a bit)
3: get people to play on it and pay for it.

from now on i give this a -1 (it may also be your computer, so try fixing that.)

I have bad ping, aswell. I've learned to fight with it. But I go off of a wireless connection. I'd drag an ethernet cable from your' router to your' computer. That would help just a little bit.

Im on a mac, but i get a solid 120 Fps. And ****ty apple is so bad they couldnt be bothered to put an Ethernet cable port into the make of mac that i use. Yea, Thats how good i am.

Its not my connection. Everyone that i know is a pretty hardcore gamer. We play DayZ and **** like that. We can play on ****ing german servers and get like 250 ping. Seriously. its not me, its MCBrawl. Im not trying to h8 on mcbrawl. but i just think it would be a good idea if we had an australian server :stuck_out_tongue: (Or maybe one for each map, So like Number 2 Is australian, and number 8 is australian)
    I dont know. but yea

Australia has one of the worse internet in the world (please don't say what I'm thinking).
My average solid ping in all WarZ servers are 300-500 and that's when I don't seem to lag. I don't know why a lot of (no offence please don't hurt me) why most McBrawlers who are American complain about say 100-200 ping, I can never reach that kind of ping. I don't think Australia has yet to install the google fiber thing, which I believe is 100mb/sec meanwhile most Australian internet has roughly 2-12mb/sec. Our current Prime minister after the election changed the idea of bringing in Google Fiber to some Internet running 20mb/sec. An Australian server? Most of those servers might be empty because there are a ton more of American and European players than there are Australian players so your idea isn't really that popular, to many but I like it myself considering I lag a lot. The only way you get better connection is be close to major shopping centre or live in the city in Australian. I live fairly close to the city but I have to play on my cousins PC to play minecraft so it's far slower.

For this idea of one Australian server or slightly more +0 because I like it and all it won't lag for me as much and other Australian players. The one problem is not many players are Australian so it won't be popular and I only play on very filled up servers nowadays.
Oops, I went from facts to reasons.

    Google Fiber has 1000/MB.

Honestly, I can't imagine getting 500 ping average, and the Australians should have at least one server where they don't lag. +1

1000/mb? Damn 500 ping is nothing to bad just when it tips over to 600-4000 it starts getting a bit out of hand.

The host is situated in Canada, so either you cut the Wifi connection to all your neighbors either you go and live next to a Wifi Relay, neither of those are very good ideas.
Your bad connection is probably due to everybody in your family using the Wifi therefore not giving enough for your connection to stabilize and also because the host is quite far. image.jpg
    No ping host 4 u c:

I feel your pain seeing as I get 200-300 ping for my average. But I've been playing Brawl for a year and a half with this ping, and I think you'll find you get used to it.

I live in NZ by the way.

For Minecraft, 100-200 ping is fine. 300-450 is when you have minor issues. Beyond that, makes it very hard to play.
For other games, a higher ping is needed (50 or less), which is why you see most Americans and Europeans complaining about 100+ ms.

An Australian-hosted server would only benefit Australians and maybe some people living nearby in Japan or China. (and the vast majority of them don't even speak English anyways) Others, like Americans or Europeans would have issues connecting so you would see a lack of players and/or moderation on said server.

Internet is the basis topic here, they currently are on-topic. If the messages had been removed or deleted that were off-topic, please do not mind this.
McBrawl is a rather American based server. I am unsure if we could do a server hosted in Australia. It is hosted where it is hosted due to the fact that a good majority of the players who come on this server are from America/Canada/Europe. Basically, we went to please the majority.
Sorry to hear about the ping though :c Hope that you can find a solution.

Australia is huge, you have to be more specific. It's unfair, and it would be great if it was added, but it's unlikely. Our servers are hosted in Canada, and we only gave one host.

I didnt think of this. Good point. I think that if there was a host in western australia. It would be good.

I lived in India for 2 years, 350 ping average, you get used to it, it isn't all that bad. (In the U.S. now, all about that 50 ping life)
