Thank You For The Memories.

For post 5000, I decided to make something kind of special. This is about MC-War, specifically.

So, it was January 2013 or so when I first discovered MC-War. I played MCPvP back then because they had CTF. (and of course they still do now) But I saw an ad for Multiplayer Servers, advertising guns in Minecraft. Intrigued, I clicked on the ad. And I discovered MC-War, Call of Duty in Minecraft.

When I first joined, there were so many who warmly greeted me. They would help me, and they were awesome. I quickly leveled up, and was supported the whole way by the veterans, who were awesome back then. They even thought I was better than most of them.
As far as I remember, the best clan at that time was NEX. I made it my goal to get to level 25 to join NEX, owned by the legend mafia. However, NEX was disbanded and FLUX was created, before I ever got to level 20. So FLUX became my new goal.
Back then, they didn't even have prestige weapons to use, they were just weapons coming soon. But they finally came out. I don't really remember that day because no one was really impressed with the prestige weapons. Not that anyone was prestige anyways. People didn't even use the donor weapons, since the minigun and flamethrower sucked, and the LAW was exclusively for infected.
Soon, I applied for moderator, and after nearly a month of waiting I was finally accepted. That day was pretty awesome, becoming mod for the first time.
It went down soon after, with people whining about the Barrett and about the wave of people spamming LAW in TDM. (looks at FLUX clan) And then we got the Ray Gun, C4, and Crossbow.
Eventually, I gave up on trying to be one of the best. That would simply be impossible without any donor items save for the minigun. (it was still bad, and I didn't even have scavenger for it) I started using different weapons, like the M4. I turned from someone who wanted to be among the best into someone who played for fun, and enjoyed using unconventional weapons.

Being on War changed me as a person, both because of my experiences and because of my time as a moderator. It was War that really got me into Minecraft servers and server communities. I'm pretty sure I'm kinda addicted to War. v:

There's my brief history of War. But anyways, thanks for all the positive experiences and happy memories, everyone. It's been a blast being here, and although War doesn't live up to what it used to live up to, I will probably still enjoy War for much, much longer.
