Host issues?

    Unofortunetly, my connection feed to McBrawl on every server, (my ping) has been really crap. For the past year of McBrawl, i have gotten 90 ping or less. just this morning, i am from now on getting 200 ping +. I don't understand if there was a hosting change or anything. i heard that there was a hosting in canada which is where i live, but i have no idea what the problem. anyway to fix this problem? please, i really need help. i can't play war-Z with this type of ms. I get daily crashes off of McBrawl.

    Here's some tips I can offer:
    • Make sure your firewall has a policy that allows Minecraft. Some firewall programs can be blocking inbound/outbound connections that are necessary for running MC Multiplayer.
    • Turning off antivirus software might do the trick (warning: not recommended unless as a last resort).
    • Scan your PC to make sure there isn't a virus that's slowing down your internet connection.
    • Power cycle your router (probably the best solution).
    • Make sure there's no large amount of dust buildup in your computer wiring.

    Again people complaining about getting 100-200 ping, I live in Australia and I run an average of 400 to 500 ms or ping. I have never seen a ping such as 200 before in my eyes. And are you downloading something? Make sure to close your browser just in case and or turn off and on your router. If there is a virus, use a scan and get rid of it hopefully that will fix it.

    No, nothing regarding hosts has changed. Check to make sure that no one in your household is downloading something huge, streaming movies, etc. That is usually the main source of high ping. Otherwise, something in the background may be sucking it up.
