Wild Wolf Glitch?

    i summoned wolves with spawner-egg.
    Then i left there to bring bones.
    When I got back there, wolves weren't there.

    (not got raided/wolves couldn't run away)

    Did you maybe go out of range and it de-spawned?

    But wolf is not hostile mob.
    If it were single play, they wouldn't despawn.

    Yes, you're right.

    However,
    Cow, sheep , and so on don't despawn by going out of range.

    Why does only wolf despawn...??
    It is seriously confusing.
    Everyone who try to catch them will fail.

    Are you sure that the wolves didn't just run away or something?
    Did you trap them to make sure they don't escape?

    What i was gonna say was.... It has happened to me aswell. I think its because the wolf is an enemy MOB so it despawns

    If untamed, wolves will despawn when you move a certain distance from them. This can only be negated by naming them or taming them.

    Really??
    As far as i know, untamed or tamed wolf don't despawn.
    Hostle one will despawn though.

    Do I have wrong infomation??
