    This is my latest map submission. It is much larger than the last few and it has the required terrain variation and also some basic tunnels and such. Hope you all like it and I hope to see it on the server one day. Please feel free to check out the pics or download the map. I'll leave links for both asap.

    I like it but some of those really long corders could use some detail/obstacles. Other than that nice work!

    It would be good if you made the tunnels under ground 2x2 so you can dodge bullets. if its 1x2 thats way to OP

    The underground tunnel network could use some work, as micah444 said:
    It would be too over powered ( OP ) due to the Skullcrusher and ISO users. Other than that, great job! :wink:

    I'm +0 for now, this map has lost of creativity and details. The problem like many other people have said is that those tunnel will be camped out of dayz. Other then that keep working, I would like to see how this map turns out.

    Fair thought...I already added a few spots where you can duck into cover in the tunnels but if that's not enough the server admin are welcome to adjust that......They can probably adjust for any of the worries that you have.

    I think your idea is good, but I've tried to make a map that is suitable to all types of game play as well s your favourite weapon. If you use sniper you can play in the long corridors better whereas if you use automatic you will prefer the outdoors. Maybe a little more could be done but any adjustments that need to be made can be made by server admin.

    This map is not on of your best, I must admit. First of all, the map is pretty much all open space which is really not good for an Mc War map, as there needs to be many places to hide. Also, those underground tunnels are very unnecessary and would be a waste of time to go under. Also the spawns in my opinion are way too big, if you size them down a bit, then it would be perfect.

    What I would really love to see is some other structures in the map, that would probably change my mind about this being added or not.

    For now, it's a -1 from me

    I created two maps which were smaller...they didn't have pointless tunnels and were filled with structure and all I got was a load of remarks about there not being enough tunnels and terrain variation, and that it was too small...I've employed all of that in this map and now I get its got pointless tunnels(not my idea) its too big(still not my idea) and not enough structures(which I grant is probably true but I can fix that if necessary, I just thought peeps wanted more terrain variation like trees and stuff) I'm at a loss as to what I should do seeing as nobody can work out exactly what is wanted......

    One other thing...is there way I can unsubmit a map, because I'd like to remove them all and scratch the whole idea???

    The thing is, structures are a lot more important than tunnels, as very very few current Mc War maps have tunnels.

    My opinions (cons):

    Tunnels need to be bigger

    The tunnel entrances need to stand out a bit more (something like giant holes in the ground) i say this because i fear that if the tunnel entrances are too small no one would utilize them

    The map is a bit too flat you could just spam automatics across the map and get quite some kills

    also make sure the tunnels are deep enough it they are only 1 block below the surface c4 will be way to op

    My opinions (pros):

    This map has all the needed detail it seems very neat

    since this map is a rectangle so it will be easier for lower lvl players to memorise

    conclusion:

    combat wise this map is not the best but detail wise its very good

    As I said already, I didn't want tunnels but when I submitted other maps I was told that I needed to add tunnels....so I'll leave it at this.....you can't please everyone even some of the time, in fact you can't even please some people all of the time...so the result is that nobody want to know whats been done because nobody thinks that anybody will want it for everybody.............

    I think I understand your concern and I'll look at updating the map soon. I'm planning on completely redoing the tunnels to make them into a complete tunnel network which will interlink all across the map. I'm also planning on adding more structures like a central hub which I'm wanting to add access to from above(still not sure how I'm gonna make it work but I'll give it a go) and I'd like to remodel the inside of the bases and such. In effect this has worked out as a preliminary submission. I thought it would work but I've found people have concerns and I'll do my best to resolve any and all issues ASAP. Thanks for taking the time to give your opinion and I'll see what I can do.

    I'm in the process of changing all that, I've already made all tunnels 2/2 and I'm adding in a lot more corridors and interlinking tunnels also. If you have any other concerns please let me know.

    I'm in the process of redoing the tunnels eg....I've only been able to make then 2 blocks below the surface, but I've made them wider and I've also completely redesigned them to interlock and crossover so that you won't get caught in a crossfire situation with no escape route. I'm also looking at building up the bases a bit so that there are not so many long open spaces and in the center of the map plan on building a central hub that will provide a barrier from machine gun spamming across the entire map. Other structures in planning. I'll try to get a new version out ASAP. If yo have any other questions please let me know and I'll try to answer them to the best of my knowledge.     I like the idea of tunnels but I think they will be ignored during gameplay.     Just because tunnels are not used in other maps does not mean they shouldn't be used. What other maps lack, a new map night just make up for. I know for a fact that there are a few maps with tunnels on the server though and I've seen players using them.

    However this is a great map but it hasn't really gotten that much detail as I was expecting for a war map, I could say this would fit onto a kit pvp server more like: WapCraft MC or Kit brawl

    But I honestly don't know, this is something the staff has to decide.

    But ill give you a 0,5+ for a chance, good luck :smile:!

    The floor needs some more detail. I suggest you to put some stone/gravel blocks or perhaps ice blocks here and there. It would be cool if you added some houses and perhaps a mountain too. :smile:

    Interesting thoughts. I'll be adding some other structures but not any mountains. Mountains don't do anything for you in the gameplay so there is no point. Thanks for the ideas though, and thanks for your support.
