Idea Being able to sell damaged items.

Not a bad idea.
The only thing that I may think of is that there be a limit on how low it's durability is. If it is lower than say, 100 or 50 durability you could not sell it.
Otherwise, it's a good idea.

 

I agree with @rainywolvess Because then otherwise you may spend 100 gold on something that may have 3 durability.

 

You should of course be able to see whats the durability before purchasing....

I like this it will allow you to get rid of say Prot 4 that you're too lazy to repair (Not that you would sell Prot 4)

Rarely I get epic enchanted armor at spawn, however, it is end up in the chest...
(I'm not so interested in PvP.)

 

This is a good idea and I personally like it.
However, I think it could be difficult to be able to sell damaged items and have the shop return it with the same durability. Since I am still a… beginner at coding? I don't know how hard it would be, or for the matter if it were even possible.

 

True, I didn't think of that, that could be a concern.

 

You could just get the durability of it in the system and give you the item with the same durability as it was last time, I'm also a beginner at Java programming so I don't know how to do the whole thing.

 

Yeah, but I am just thinking it would be based off of a item number type of thing that identifies it. But I don't know how it would work for durability.

 

Not able to read through comments (time's short today). But why not have some kind of system that tells what the durability is on the item?

 

I know that you said your time was limited but it was brought up that if this becomes available, the shop would show the durability.

 

i think you would be right but then ppl would get out of controled and sell almost breaking tools or armor at high prices but it would also be good to easliy get raid of used tools
