Idea Headshots

i'd rather have a sort of glitchy headshot then no headshot.

Yes. cause many people have no gear and a barret with 4 shots and your a 3/4 diamond and you get 1 shotted.

 

No, I like it how it is.

It separates the mediocre players from the truly skilled, accurate players. This would encourage no-scoping even more, and considering that is already a problem, it would only make it worse.

And also, who doesn't love the satisfaction of a 1 shot?

I vote keep 'em.

Barret can't 1 shot 3/4 d.

If you get "1 shot" then you were down 1-2 hearts in the first place.

It does happen. I have been 1 shot in 3/4 many of times by full leathers

 

No, we just need to nerf the Barret's damage.

 

I strongly agree with this idea, overall it will make WarZ more fun to play. 1: Your fights will be longer and more intense. Think about it, if you cant just 1 shot everybody you will overall have longer and more interesting fights. 2: You wont lose your gear as fast. As much as we enjoy 1 shotting other players, we all hate getting 1 shot ourselves after we either loot up for a bit or after we finish a fight with another team. 3: It helps other players learn to play. For example if I were brand new to WarZ, looted chest's for about an hour and finally got full iron, just to get 1 shot by a barret. I would not be very happy.

 

But that's the thing.
Headshots have been in since the beginning of WarZ and would make some guns almost useless, not to mention everyone having to get used to it.

Edit - Said the part about guns being useless wrong.
Let me also bring up three other points.
1. The Barrett is the only one that one shots, and headshots don't make that much of a different with other guns, so why aren't you asking the Barrett to be nerfed instead of headshots.
2. I'm pretty sure this is going to cause a lot of rage.
3. When you take away headshots you also take away part of WarZ, since headshots are one of the things that make WarZ unique.

 

But so has the barret.

 

It does 9.5 hearts to 3/4 d... Unless it was buffed, that's how I remember it. This was a while ago, so it may have changed. Also, in the heat of battle, you may have not noticed you were down half a heart or a full heart.

And what I mean by separating skilled from mediocre is the ability to not just shoot in a random direction to the body, but to pinpoint an exact location on the player and hit the dot, to say.

 

But everyone's been mad about the Barret for an extremely long time.
I have never seen anyone make any kind of comment leading towards Headshots being removed.

 

Yes, I'm leaning towards headshots being removed. I feel like new players don't take it kindly when they get one shot by a barret upon their first time getting full iron or maybe even some diamond. The removal of headshots would make fights last longer, less raging players and overall more fun.

Would like headshots. People just complain so much, back in the day people just accepted that they got one-shoted.

Yes. Yes! YES! : )))))))))))))

So many players rely on headshots from no scoping with their barret. They don't aim, they just right click and the only people who are 100% safe from that are full diamonds. If you have no helmet but you have diamond boots, legs and chest, you CAN be one-shot.
If anyone can tell me a player that is skilled and successful in-game that doesn't rely on the insane barret no-scope accuracy getting them a one-shot headshot, go ahead. I doubt there are any. :l

 

Well but with this new idea, people will no scope even more... Considering scoping's usefulness will drop 90% without headshots.

And to the people about to spam this with disagrees, disagree this post AFTER you explain to me why people would scope within 15 blocks. Not like their gonna aim for a headshot, they would just rely on the no scope even more then they do now.

 

I'd prefer nerfing the barret because removing headshots overall would make t1-t2 practically useless

 

@Mario, I gotta say, without headshots 2v1s would be extremely hard. At the moment, teams rule WarZ and the only way I can kill teams by myself is mostly barret headshots. If I take the time to use AK or barret-spas then the other guy/guys have killed me. And sniper battles between full irons will become redundant seeing as they can't one-shot each other.

Solution?

Here's what I'm proposing. You're annoyed because of lucky no-scope headshots right? Well I have a few solutions.

A. Headshots only count when you're scoping, no-scopes headshots have no effect.
B. Just nerf the headshot multiplier so that only full irons can get headshot by barret, not 1/4 or 1/2 Dias?
C. Make diamond more common so it's easier to get 3/4. This would reduce the effectiveness of one-shot headshots as most players wouldn't be able to get one-shot.
