Idea Game Idea: Dodge Ball

CONCEPT ​

So, basically when the game starts, you automatically start out with a dodge ball, dependent on your kit. When you throw your dodge ball, and it hits the ground/roof/wall, then it will be able to be picked up by anyone else. This makes it so you wont run out of dodge balls. If there is not a winning team after 3 minutes, then the map will start to shrink OR the floor might possibly start to disappear. This is to reduce those long boring wait times for the spectators. There is 1 medic who can heal revived teammates that are out. To heal teammates, you must right click with a blaze rod to revive them. To know where a teammate has fallen, there would be Redstone in place of where they got out at. That way medics know where you were at so they can heal you. Once your medic gets out, your team will not be able to be revived, so make sure not to let your medic get out! Same goes for the opposing team.

TEAMS​

There is 2 choices for team sizes. 1 is you can have 2 teams, with up to 30 players on each one. Another is you can have 3 teams with 20 players on each team. Either way, one of those two will work.

MAPS​

Alright, so maps should be small, but not cramped. What I mean is that you can have a small map, but no obstacles in it, so the map still feels somewhat spacious even though it's a small map. The size for EACH COURT, should be 20x20. The entire map should be somewhere around 20x40. It doesn't have to be exactly 20x40, but somewhere around that.

KITS​

There are two kits. One is MEDIC. There is only one medic per team, making them very valuable. Medics will start out with a blaze rod and NO dodge balls, however they are able to pick them up. The other is kit AVERAGE JOE. Everybody BUT the medic will get this. You spawn with 1 Dodge ball, and a wool in your inventory telling you which team you are on. (same for medic)

Might explain it better when school is over at 2:10p.m. West Time. You guys should be able to see where I am going with this, as dodge ball is an easy thing to understand.

Figured out something for teams, might change it to where it could be a free-for-all? I would need opinions on that first.

Yea, but then if it WAS a free-for-all, then it pretty much would be a snowball fight. So I will just keep the teams.

 

Well, I used to play it like this: When you get hit by the dodge ball, you are out. It's a one hit kill, and everyone can start with a ball, or run into the middle and pick them up.

 

Yea the reason why I don't want it to be a free-for-all is because then its pretty much just snowball fight.
