Newb Moments

    Have you ever had a newb moment or were you really bad at Minecraft starting off? I know I was terrible. When I started I couldn't properly jump and run at the same time. Also, I started on a friend's brother's account and so my friend made all my tools for me and I didn't learned how to make them. Eventually after about 2-3 months of playing it I finally memorized how to make a pickaxe and I was so proud of myself. While I was playing I would always be dropping my tools at a random moment because instead of pressing 'W' to go forward, I would press 'Q'. So ever since I got into Minecraft my drop button has been "ENTER' and that's how I play now. Go ahead and share your newb moments, remember we are laughing with you, not at you :smile:

    I was pretty bad. I did know the basics, but that was it. I was terrible at playing, and I got slaughtered even in Easy mode.
    Eventually I got better, then went to mods, then to servers.

    At the beginning I was so noobie, I didn't know that I would need to rightclick to place a block.

    I made a base once on a PVP, Griefing, Team's server I placed a lava wall In front of my front door to my house. Thinking that everyone would use the door I made to raid me then all of a sudden people started coming from above me, side of me, below me I was like 'face palm' I was such a noob.

    Minecraft was the first PC game I played, I had no idea what "wasd" was or how to walk, use my mouse, jump, and think all at the same time. Lets just say, I couldn't get the hang of swimming in water and moving for awhile. Don't get me going on how long it took for me to understand the tools you use for different blocks. Using a pickaxe on trees FTW! ❤

    My brother still mines things with the wrong tool even though he's been playing longer than me. He mines dirt with a pickaxe, and wood with a shovel.

    Multiplayer was so much fun during the newb days. Got banned from two servers nearly right away because of griefing. :stuck_out_tongue:

    Whenever I watch a gameplay and someone does that, I'm just like *facepalm*

    I was only shown 1 server when I started so I thought that was the only multiplayer server there was...

    I remember I used to be completely terrified of mobs, if I saw one, I ran into my crappy wood hut. I also remember finding diamonds and mining them with a stone pickaxe.

    I remember the first few hours playing I was too scared to come out of my 10x10 hidey hole because of the spiders/zombies :stuck_out_tongue:
