Ray nerf idea

    So as everybody know ray gun is ****ING OP in infect

    so i came up with the idea why doesn't the raygun produce a charged shot

    so each second you hold down your right click with ragun 1 amo will be consumed per second

    for each amo consumed the raygun will do 2 hearts damage

    this will prevent raygun being spammable and op complaints will be ended

    (if you have scavenger you will get 4 amo back so the you won't run out of amo so fast)

    I like the idea of a charged shot. If you had to hold down right click to "charge" your raygun for about a second to fire, it would be a lot more balanced for infect. There could be some kinda of damage buff in compensation for it, though. (Like the spartan laser from Halo).

    I dont like this idea. This idea will down the sales of the ray gun by who knows how much. I must say the ray gun is one of the most popular donor guns and is even becoming popular in tdms. To downgrade the power of the ray gun will make people not buy it and there is only 16 shots the ray gun can shoot. So whats the biggy here. BTW i dont own a raygun or any donor gun for that matter so my opinion isnt biased.

    do you know how many people complain about raygun you have no idea right

    p.s. the most popular doner gun is mingun and cbow not ray

    People complain about rayguns so much i have seen. Half of them have ray guns and they are mad bc they spent 5 bucks and cant get a proper kill. thats their problem. I think the ray gun is fine as it it. Sry my bad, the most popular donor is cbow and mini, but the ray gun is still REALLY popular

    the people who do not support a raygun nerf outweigh the people who think it should not be nerfed

    at least 80% of the players think raygun could be nerfed even if the use it (like me)

    Nah, a better idea is to fix the coding error that makes the Ray-gun explosion happen every time. Once that's fixed, the explosion only happens when the ray hits the player's hitbox.

    This is what I always respond to needing donor weapons. :grinning:

    That doesn't matter. Just because it's not the most popular item that doesn't you can declare it to be nerfed. It's still an item that many people use and if there was a raygun nerd then ...

    Or alternatively, they could fix the raygun, and have it only explode on contact with an enemy.

    Maybe like f1r3star said maybe in the players hitbix will the explosion take place.

    That would be nice but when there is too many zombies with C4 you can get easly overcome.
