What are you looking forward to now that negative ratings are gone?

As you all know, negative ratings were recently removed. While at first Putty said that he was seeing how things would go for a day or two without them, they ended up remaining removed for a period of time afterwards. Only recently, was the negative ratings discussion thread locked, thus making it official. Negative ratings are gone for good.


I want to hear some of the things that you guys are looking forward to now that negative ratings are gone. What are you most looking forward to seeing? I will share a few of the things that I am looking forward to now that negative ratings are gone.


1. Better clan/team sections.

Now that negative ratings have been removed, there can be no more negative rating spam in the clan sections! People can now express their good will towards a clan without having to worry about being spammed with pointless and dislike ratings! If a member who is making a clan isn't exactly liked by the general populace, that's ok! Now, that member won't be dislike spammed just because they weren't the most popular. I'm really looking forward to enjoying a happier clan section.


2. No more rating wars.

In the absence of negative ratings, rating wars have become impossible. Since they are gone, they cannot be used as a subtle way of causing pain. No longer can they be used to spite people. The lack of fights and hate caused by negative ratings will be a welcome change to the forums!


3. Generally more positivity.

Negative ratings were exactly what they sounded like they were: negative! Which feels better, receiving a dislike or receiving a like? Personally, I would prefer to receive a like. I'm sure you would all agree. There is definitely less negativity now than there was before negative ratings were removed. I can feel the change. It's also kinda nostalgic. It reminds me of the days when only likes existed. All I can say is that we are definitely better off now than we were, and I am loving it.


Enough of my ramblings. In what ways have you guys seen the forums change for the better since the removal of negative ratings? What are you really looking forward to now that negative ratings are gone? What are you already enjoying? Share it with everyone! Post it for the world to see!


Also, as a side note, the point of this thread is to focus on the good things the removal of negative ratings ushered in, not the "bad things." Those things don't belong on this thread. Posting those type of things on this thread would be off-topic and would most likely lead to trouble. This is not a debate thread. Let's keep it positive, shall we?

Yeah, me too! As I said before, negative ratings are negative.

They only exist in past threads. The numerical total has been disabled and they cannot be given anymore m8.
