Gigga, what are the specifics for the ban protocol a.k.a

Can someone be banned for teaming with a hacker when they weren't even present when the hacks were recorded?

When I was mod, I was team with JonnyOfDead23 for a few days without realising he speed hacked because he never did it around me. If that happened with this new ban protocol in place, would I have been banned?

You will not be banned for simply 'teaming', you must be present at the time the hacker was caught.

If you happen to be temp-banned for teaming with a hacker and you claim to have not known, we will pardon you if your appeal is convincing enough and/or we trust the banned player.

This exact situation is the main reason why the ban is only a temporary 72 hour ban.

This'll work well. I hope this rule applies to staff members, too.

What if someone is banned and they weren't actually hacking? Their teammates have to suffer because of a mistake? @athena530

If your teammate blinks/timers up a ladder/staircase and you follow directly behind him, you would be considered a "ride along" and banned for three days. If the ban was indeed a mistake, the player can appeal his ban explaining why it wasn't hacks. If the appeal is accepted, all players will be unbanned. If not, they will all remain banned.

You basically need video proof for that and hardly anyone records at that time, so good luck with the appeal for any of those. The Brawl ban system has a few, er, loopholes, but I think this is a step in the right direction.

I like to team up with random players.
With the "new ban protocol" I can't do this anymore, right?
In my opinion WarZ takes a step backwards.

No , your getting this all wrong . He said that if the player is hacking and your with him you will get banned 3 days and the hacker perm . So that means you can't "ride along" with hackers anymore or there will be consequences to the hackers you team with . Understands now ?

Just be careful who you team with, talk to them on ts or skype and eventually they'll probably say if they have some hacks or not. Then its your choice, stop teaming with them or get a potential ban.

I read the previous posts, but there can still be an issue,
    What if the this happens:
    1. Player starts hacking
    2. People hackusate, team member starts recording hacks
    3. Super mod/admin teleports first OR a player submits evidence before the team member can record and upload
    4. Team member gets unfairly banned
I know it's a temp ban, not a perm ban, but the team member doesn't deserve to be banned for something wrong and unjust like that. Maybe he doesn't have a forums account at the time, and can't appeal because he doesn't know how or since he won't receive a response.

I like to play with the community, new players or veterans.
You might no believe it, but there are players who don't own a headset.
Asking every player to join the Teamspeak³-Server... That's impossible.
