    Question: When I get tagged I don't get an alert anymore, but I have my alert preferences so that I do. v:

    The original post or thread must contain the tag. If it was edited in or added from an additional post (double post merge) then it will not alert you.

    Not sure why, maybe it has to do with posts not counting in that section.
