    I really think posts in the off topic section should count as actual posts. At the moment, messages on the off topic section will not count towards your total messages. I really disagree with that.

    Why? People will just spam it to increase their post count.
    You haven't actually given a reason why they should count so I'm not really inclined to agree with you...

    I think a post is a post and some people like me spend most of their time on off-topic threads. I don't think the forum games should count because there are games where you just put a number and post it. But besides that off-topic posts should count.

    Just take forums games as an example, you post hundreds of messages there without any point. That really shouldn't count.

    The off-topic section has nothing to do with mcBrawl (mostly). The post count is a good representation of how much you try to improve and discuss the servers, not completely random stuff.

    I'd rather not go back to the days of like farms. Off-topic would turn into who can get the most funnies or agrees. Posts in that section are not normally related to McBrawl, so ratings should not apply there.

    You see, Serine, there are endless possibilities to message-farming in the off-topic section. Counting wars, for example, could get someone a bonus 300 messages even though they have only like 250 messages in other areas. Because pf the fact (Sig said this) that most of the content posted in the Off-Topic section isn't related to McBrawl in any form, I don't see why they should count.
