Dear, Subject... So you want to be a Moderator Aih?
    Follow this guide to success!

Alright, everyone.. Today I'm going to talk about how to make a Moderator Application, and the aspects to doing your job..

    Application:
I feel like everyone wants to help the community at one point.. So this may be good for you!
    Every application contains:
    - Good Detail (Make sure every question has a good 5-10 sentence explanation, accept Age etc.)
    - Grammar (Use comas, periods, fluency, quotes etc.)
    - Common Sense (Don't be a idiot)
    They also want:
    - Name
    - Age
    - Detail
    - Experience
    - How will you help
    - How long have you been playing
    - Why do you want this rank
    - Timezone
    - Do you have, TS, Skype, etc.
    - Do you report anyone daily?

There's many more, but those are just the basics. . Here's a example I made:
    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    Dear Administration,
My name is Ryan, and I'm applying for moderator today.
I want this job because, I'm very trustworthy and I report daily. I'm very responsible
and I understand that this is a serious job, and will do my best!

I'm currently 10 years old, and going to turn 11 in 2015.

I have good experience in being a Moderator, I have owned about 2-7 servers...
Once, I created a server with about 14 Minigames with only 11 Plugins! I'm very
active and love to help out communitys. Especially if there's creativity involved!
    -
I have fluency in 2 coding languages and learning many others...
    - HTML (Got it down)
    - JavaScript (Got it down)
    - PHP (Still Learning)
    - Python (Still Learning)
    - C# (Still Learning)

I can help the community, by:
    Keeping the Chat Clean
    Reducing Drama, Fighting
    Making sure everyone's having fun
    Finding hackers, Fixing/Finding Glitches

I've been playing for about 2 Months, and understand the servers pretty well. I do go on teamspeak, and I'm looking forward to meeting more people. I've been on the forums for 1 Month, and been on teamspeak for about 1 1/2 Months. I'm pretty good at keeping my distance between me and rule breaking.

My timezone is, 9:00 AM UTC - Canada/USA Time.

I also do report players daily, I make sure nobody's failing cause of those pesky hackers! - I've made about 5-13 reports, this way everyone has the #1 experience! You can check some of the reports out here:

I do have teamspeak, skype, minecraft and a forum account.
    My skype is: (Skype name)
    My teamspeak is: (Teamspeak name)
My minecraft IGN is: (Minecraft name)

I hope this is enough information, and I thank you for reading it!

    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

That's my example application, I know it's not everything but it's the basics. Let's move on..

    Being a Moderator:
Moderating the chat, and servers is a very serious job. You can't go lolly gagging until you think everything's fine and taken care of. Moderator's can have fun to, you don't have to moderate all the time! - Mainly, Moderators play the gamemode/game their on, and do their job at the same time! This way they can't hang out, and help the community at the same time!

    Moderators Main Jobs:
    - Moderate the Chat
    - Reduce Drama
    - Remove Spam
    - Ban Players
    - Find Hackers
    - Find Glitches
    - Keep the community safe!
    - Being nice, and loyal
    - Being helpful to others

    On the forum:
    - Moderate the Chat
    - Reduce Drama
    - Delete Spam
    - Move Posts, (If in incorrect section)
    - Reduce cheating with-in: Liking themselves, etc.
    - Inform users on the latest news
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Thank's guys, I know it's long but I appreciate you reading it!
Good luck at moderating, and applying!

    Regards,

One problem with your application example is that you didn't follow the template. There is a set template for applications, and you basically fill in the blanks.

Moderators can't delete or move forum posts. Also, you forgot one of a moderator's main jobs : Being helpful and polite on the forums and in-game.

Super Mods are a higher rank than Trial/Global Mods. They can move and delete posts.

We already have a official guide here, I don't see the point of this...

I admire your strong ambition on becoming a moderator and making threads aimed to help our community, but I just don't think you're "there" yet.

For one thing, this isn't a guide to becoming a moderator. The title is a bit misleading, as it only covers the application step. An application isn't enough nor does it mean anything if you barely joined or if the application doesn't really portray who you claim to be.

Secondly, how can you help people become a moderator on Brawl if you're not even one? Sure you might of owned/moderated a few servers here and there, but every server looks for different people. Some accept everyone, others accept a selected group that has certain abilities (configuring plugins, coding, etc), and it is no different that Brawl looks for certain people. You cannot use inductive reasoning to figure out your chances of becoming a moderator or to find the loophole to become one in McBrawl. Sure, you can use it as a general idea, for example you obviously need to be English literate as most of our community is based on the English language and to be mature, because who wants an immature mod?

Becoming a moderator on McBrawl is very different than what you are used to. It's not just a "join-and-apply", it's a lot more complicated due to many factors one of them being an above-average server in size.

    to be continued

I honestly think you are in no position to be making a mod guide, considering you aren't a mod yourself. Plus, Signitured already has a thread "Staff - What we're looking for".
