Stay Counter

I believe the staff won't incorporate this because CS:GO doesn't have an overall stat counter. Refer to this thread for more information: https://www.brawl.com/threads/22765/

 

They do, but you must go to the CS:GO website for it. We could always just add stats on mcbrawl.com/stats.

 

Technically it does, but you NEVER brag about it, or you are in for a world of hurt. In any valve game you never talk about personal stats.

I am against an overall stat count because it would cause players to care more about kills then do the objective.

 

Personally, I would prefer to leave Minestrike without a stat counter. I don't want it to get all serious and then have it's community go south. I would prefer that it be left alone as a fun game in which the completing objective is the main goal, even if it means sacrificing your life to give your team the advantage.

 

I recently discussed this topic and now I've changed my mind. Mine Strike is suppose to be fun, if you added permanent statistics it wouldn't be as fun. Also in the actual game Counter Strike there is no permanent statistic counter. Something else though that I would like is to keep your record, for example it records your best game. Usually in other games of McBrawl they have statistics and people have to constantly be online to keep themselves at the top. This idea could be better because you don't necessarily have to be as active in Mine Strike, just get a good score that's it .

 

I agree. But I do think there should be some sort of overall rewards system.

If there were credits in Minestrike, I think a lot more people would play it, because as people played multiple games, they would feel some sort of overall accomplishment.

 

If so, then objective themed tasks should be far more rewarding (in whatever a counter would be) than say getting 15 kills in a game.
Objective themed tasks should be a priority for Mine strike if points were to be counted.
