New Ban Protocol: Ride Alongs

I'm gonna be honest here. If someone tells me a member of my team is hacking i look into it straight away! Let's take Legiit11 for example. I got told he was a hacker when he was on my team so I looked into it and he was hacking, so I recorded him hacking then kicked him.

If someone else cought him whilst he was on my team without me knowing, I would have took a 3 day ban for his mistake! This rule is crap...

 

Exactly. This rule leads to several misunderstandings and will most certainly result in undeserved bans.
I'm going to go on ahead and request a vote for this to be removed, I wouldn't like to be banned for an unjust reason. Being banned on someone else's behalf is ridiculous, and you have no way to prove if someone is being honest or not.
I feel unless the evidence is blatant that they knew they were hacking, it isn't ban-worthy.
Furthermore, it is NOT a player's job to report someone. You can't force someone to report, it is not their obligation - what if they can't make a forum account? What if they can't find a mod on? More importantly, what if they simply couldn't be troubled to and would rather do something else, more important, or if they simply DON'T have the time to? These are extremely unfair incidents that can, and most likely will, indeed, happen.

tl;dr, People don't have time to report and will get unjustly banned because of it, that's not ok.

 

I'm gonna be honest it's just a crap rule. The rule breaker should be punished, not their friends.

 

I'm pretty sure staff are prepared, if it was obvious that the person you where teamed with was hacking, you shouldn't have teamed with him, basically if you do you're encouraging him, witch is what the admins don't want. If you teamed with that person and its really hard to tell if they are hacking, I'm pretty sure you wont get banned. And hey, its all about the person, if you regularly team with hackers... Expect to be watched.

Personally i think this new idea admins came up with is good, one of the reasons i'm taking a break from brawl is the hackers, and because of this new rule i think il come back sooner than i thought, i already deleted the friends on my friends list that i suspect is hacking.

 

There are Pros and Cons to this rule.. All I am saying

 

I think this is a good protocol to the banning system. I believe it's not fair if people side with someone they know who is hacking. It's like keeping a secret and stating "Snitches get stitches". Excelent work mods!

 

What if they don't Know their friend is hacking

Hackers? If I was with a team mate that hacks and I get temp banned for 3 days, im not a hacker, that's what I hate about this

 

This is such a great idea it deserves more than a like rate I'd give it a love rate! ^__^
