Server ideas - Weapons?

    Question:
    Why are they not considered? I would understand it under most occasions (that Q/A earlier explained it), additional weapons do not require a lot of work; it's simply filling out a few configuration values and getting a texture. Is it because of balancing issues, or is there something else?

    I mean, they seem to be ignored like other server ideas despite the fact that they are quite easy to implement in comparison.

    The way War was coded doesn't make it a walk in the park just to slap in a whole new gun.
    Adding it in gungame, the shop GUI, spawn, texture, balancing it, and rebooting all the servers is a whole day affair.

    Plus, how many other guns do we need? We have everything but a class of LMGs. Wouldn't any additional guns be really similar to guns already in the game?
