SIGN EULA PETITION

The EULA isn't as bad as the petition says. It eliminates P2W which is a plus. In addition there are still aesthetic items. Do you realize how much money Hypixel already makes from these aesthetic items?
It's for those reasons that I'm not signing the petition. People are overreacting about it.

 

No need to be rude, at least reply with why you think the EULA shouldn't be added.
IMO, the EULA (if added) will be a great new aspect of minecraft, people just have to get used to it.

Quick Question: Is the EULA confirmed to still be happening even with Microsoft buying Mojang AP? I have not seen any articles that confirm nor deny if the EULA is still happening.


Now to my opinion, I am in the grey zone for the EULA. I like the fact that pay2win items are removed because of it. BUT, I do not like how servers that made balanced in game items have to abide by it too. There is likely no way to fix both solutions, as loop-holes can probably be exploited.

Server will live on though, you might see the smaller server communities diminish though. This might happen, and it might not.

 

You agreed to the EULA when you bought the game, so technically yes. Pretty much every game has some sort of EULA. Without it, you could easily pirate the game, sell it as your own for money, etc.

 

Sorry, but no way am I going to sign this when I support the EULA. :V

 

I knew there was a EULA in place from the start. It is just that it has received let's say more "emphasis"/ an update in the recent turn of events.
And yes, pretty much every game has a EULA. You can look through several games on Steam for example and see it requires an agreement to their EULA. Borderlands 2 for example requires an agreement to the Borderlands 2 EULA.

I would rather have a minecraft that's fair.

 

Maybe if you mod the server and remove the code forcing you to agree to the EULA.
