Revenue after EULA

    Hey guys, I have been thinking about a good way to make revenue for EULA (being a strategist, this is a collaboration of other ideas). Donator purposes should be switched into tokens and you can only get those tokens by youtube. The player hasto sign a contract to give a portion of money they make from youtube, the player gets tokens based on howmuch money is made.​
    The tokens can be used for enderchest and tps. Maybe even loot and warps (cooldown time also), this will be very convincing and will get lots of vids about mcbrawl . This will grow servers exponentially and give stable income.
    To get even more serious, if minecraft starts to hate, we have youtube to back us up, if this happens it will most likely end in giving a portion of mcbrawl youtube money to minecraft, in exchange for more negotiations with minecraft. This might even end up with EULA being exchanged with giving a portion of donations from minecraft instead, again this is a big if, but I put a lot of thought into it.

    I like the first half of the idea all the way until when we start talking about minecraft. Mojang doesn't even know we exsist, and according to Putty we can barely pay for our bills, so why be generous when we're barely making enough to run?

    Thats what im saying, if minecraft notices were making money from youtuve they will have to speak to us, but since youtube makes some money from us they will also get into this (they fking better) and it will be serious.
    Also they can afford this very much, how were they making money years ago when server sizes and numbers were the same with only a fraction of people and donations?

    And this fourm is how to make money anyways, with this mcbrawl can get it from youtube, how else will they after EULA happens?

    Trust me this server thinks 0 steps ahead, if a black hole heads toward earth we cant ignore it.

    The token system is currently a new feature being worked on. However, I don't like how you must do Youtube videos in order to get donor items. Making Youtube videos to earn tokes. Should be another option, not the only option.

    It is extremely hard if not impossible for the average person to make money off youtube videos. And I dont think its wise to have minors signing contracts >.>

    Well you might be true about the youtube part, ive never tried to make money from it but for tokens I was thinking for them to accept terms and conditions.

    IIRC I made about 8 cents on a video that got 2k views, that means youd have to get over 20k views on a video just to make a dollar.
    Now im not sure how many views our whole community could get roughly, but i dont think itll be able to be enough

    YouTube revenue is far too low to be significant. Besides, it takes some work to become a YouTube partner and/or monetize videos that most people aren't willing to bother with.
