Tping up ladders. (rant)

I've only heard of this making it so you TP DOWN, but I imagine you could do it up very easily. Did you happen to record?

You just sit on top of a ladder and let someone tp to you. It's a known glitch.

It happens very often in snow

K, I'll explain how it works. You get the person who wants to tp up to run away from where you are about to rush. (far away enough that you are out of render distance) After the player that wants to rush is far enough he tp's to someone who is standing on the ladder and this renders the tped person invisible for a few seconds due to how minecraft handles it. Hope that explains it.

 

Your client needs to render in whoever tp's to you. Not much else about it that's really a "glitch".

We tp'd him under the ladder
He rushed to catch you by surprise
The rest of us rushed too

Exactly. You'd think mods would have the decency not to do it. @Mario , instead of saying "it's not a glitch, therefore it's legal," why don't you actually do what mods are supposed to do and say "it's not a glitch, but it still gives us an unfair advantage so I won't do it." We could have done it to you just as easily as you did us but we had the sportsmanship not to.

 

That's like saying I shouldn't rush someone who is lagging, then it's unfair on because they were lagging.

This is completely depended on how fast your client can render whoever is rushing up, sometimes it takes the time.

And we only "did" it because Chevy wasn't in snow. We told him to tp for help and he said tp him under the leader so he can rush.
