How the hell is it the same as rushing a guy who lags? We all lag here and there, and theres nothing we can do about it. Here you can control the invisibility and abuse it. Btw its pretty fun that you say that chevy just wanted to rush instantly and that he wasnt in snow and all that, but after you did it, you said it wasnt a glitch, so you clearly new how it worked with the invisibility. Btw using it only because of chevy not being in snow dosent mane it more right.

Actually, this is how it works.

(I was with Ying And Jakob when this happened)

You're on the ladder, or really close to it. A friend, from far away (Preferably 500m+), tps. Because he is far away, the server takes time to process that he has gone such a long distance without running. They're invisible for a short period of time, and then they climb the ladder and kill you.

    We cannot control it...

I cannot control how fast your client renders the chatacter once he teleports.

However, you can control whether or not you abuse this "function of the game," since you hate the term "glitch." It's obvious you don't like it because when you use that term, it makes you feel like a mod is doing something they shouldn't be, doesn't it?

This just shows that mods care so much more about loot than their reputation and moderation. Mods shouldn't care about loot at all and shouldn't be abusing glitches. I am a semi-tryhard and mods still care about loot more than me and use unfair advantages for stuff that they can get fast.

This is what you call a strategy. Everyone can do this, not only staff.

Using glitches isn't a strategy quinn :/ you know better then this. Blood bagging or using wire is a strategy, not glitching up.

The spas jump was a glitch, but it was used as a strategy.

Mods enjoy playing the game just as much as any other player. Yes, a moderator should always put their job first. I don't see how their job was effected here. Just because you didn't render ChevyLox before he rushed up doesn't mean they all "abused a glitch." I wouldn't even say it's a glitch. It's like tping someone down a ladder. Thats part of essentials and minecraft physics. If we forced our moderators to not use the resources available to them to help play the game, why apply for moderator? No one would apply for moderator if they couldn't play the game. That's just pure logic.

And now look at where that "strategy" got you. It's removed now.

Signatured, even if they weren't abusing a glitch, mods should still have good sportsmanship. I think that mods have the right to play the game like all other players, but at the end they should be good sports about it. Doing this was not good sportsmanship. We could have done the same thing they did, but we didn't. Why? Because we thought it was unfair and had the decency not to. I just think that to be a mod, you should have the same mindset, if not better.

I'm pretty sure Mojang didn't intend for this "ladder render lag" (call it whatever the hell you want) to be in the game. You shouldn't be abusing it anyway.

Quoted directly from the server rules. No you're not allowed to. But apparently some people think they can.

Edit - Suprised this thread hasn't been deleted yet, Admins wouldn't want this sort of talk going around, ruins their public image

I don't recall any of the mods having any bad sportsmanship. They all say "gg" or "gf" after every fight. They never say anything rude or brag in the chat.

Good sportsmanship is not all about saying gg at the end of a match/fight. Actually, a lot of people with bad sportsmanship say that anyway (ex. "GG EZ SKID").

A person with good sportsmanship also doesn't cheat, abuse glitches, or do anything that might be unfair in any way. That includes using a fault in the game (since the word glitch doesn't work for you guys) to gain an edge on someone.
