    So here is a quick tip for making Texture packs in 1.8.

    First, change your opacity of your color.

    guide.png Then you Paint someting in that color and it will be seetrough guide2.png This is how it looks Ingame

    Hope it comes in handy when making texture packs!

    Good to see you're bringing this up to our attention because I haven't seen anyone really use opacity in their resource packs. Hope someone does though!

    It's because it is impossible in everything but 1.8.

    @daniellazer2902, update the sniper reticles in your texture pack to include this.

    It's only for 1.8, so...
    Otherwise it will look like the color it is not transparent.

    That's because it wasn't possible 'til 1.8.
    Interesting, I'll try this out when I update to 1.8.
