" Veteran " rank

Veteran can have acces to the "aura" and "trail" cosmetics for exemple but for other cosm we need to be VIP or MVP.

 

I agree with you, this will also keep players longer on the server since they will get a rank if they stay.
Old players won't get tired and have this new rank so they can feel more special to the server.

I like the idea but, let's say I joined the forums in januari 2014. I don't post a single comment or thread and after a while I leave McBrawl. Then I come back in januari 2015 and have the "Veteran" tag? Do they deserve that tag even if they haven't posted anything? Personally I don't think so.
I would say that you get the "Veteran" tag if you have 500+ posts.
Love the idea still though.

I love this idea (and not because I would automatically receive with as I've been playing more than 1 year) but to show who has been playing a long time and dedicated their lives to help a server out and have some fun. It would be cool to have a certain title for staying for so long. Many people quit when they reach the 70s I would say, so it gives those people to have something to work toward.

I have been with McBrawl scince may 2013, but did not join the forums before june. A lot of players have been here for over a year, but they can't prove it.

I would say 1000 posts for the veteran tag. Ive been at the forums for 4 months only and I have about 350ish posts. 500 only takes 6 months so 1 year would be 1000ish posts.

100: 2
150+: All

500 messages: 1 aura
750: 2
1000+: All

 

Ive been on the forums over 1year and one the server way longer but I wouldnt even get anythig from your ideas so i think it would suck dick.
just make it that you have to be registered since one year show me one guy who is registred, plays on the server but never posts

 

It(s a good idea but you can afk easy on the server and 150 it's very nothing :V it's should be like 720 hours ( play 10hours every day on 2 months ) so 5 months if we play 2 hours every day

 

If time has been measured, then sure. I'm not sure if it has been measured though.

That would be nice, but I don't think anyone has accumulated a year's worth of playtime (time only continues while being online). The rank would have to be given manually as using an automated system would be too faulty.

How about you do how long you have been on the forums?

 

Not everyone likes using forums, some just play the game.

 

But then maybe more users would go on the forums, read all the announcements, the wiki and much more. And then they would ask less questions
