Stop with the BS and sort it out!

This is exactly what McBrawl needs. Perhaps if staff and players preach these ideas, both our forum and server community might improve.

I love the way you described this, both the staff and the players need to learn how to cooperate. To be completely honest, the community isn't doing really well right now because of reasons most of us know about. (Let's not get into that). The staff members (especially the higher-ups) and the players need to come to a solution and fix our current problems.

 

That is what perturbs me the most about this, some members are complaining about the current situation and aren't even bothering to help, they're making it worse. I don't really have any respect left for the people leaving based on the current events that have happened. As you said, the community needs to mature in order for it to be straightened out.

 

I agree; I see members getting pissed off at staff, yet they just make things worse. But that's the same with the staff.
It really feels like a staff vs players kind of thing. It shouldn't be the staff being the bad guys, or the players being the bad guys. The staff should be helpers and moderators to the players, and the players should have respect for the staff in return. And of course, some fun as well.

 

I completely agree. I mean seriously, the very people who are complaining about a bad community and corrupt staff are only making the community worse themselves. So, before you post about something, make sure that you know the whole story, and are not encouraging flame, etc. I cannot believe how many people I have seen posting complete garbage that are completely clueless. So please, have a little faith in the staff guys. If any of you have done a little digging, you will know what I mean when I say that most people don't have the full story about a lot of stuff.

Gotta agree; this community belongs to all of us. Servers are nothing without dedicated moderators/staff, and a base of players, moderators are nothing without the server and the players. Likewise, the players are nothing without the staff and the server. We're all connected. Causing this server to become divided will only make it worse.

 

I completely agree. The players and the staff both have different points of view, and both will fight till the end to get their way. But we need to find a middle ground, and ASAP because I feel like the server community is starting to fall apart. Considering the staff clearly have a higher say in this kind of stuff, they tend to try dominate. But then there is the players, they will be rude and do anything to get what they want, and this is where they start to threaten the staff, cross the line, and get kicked. There is a thin line when it comes to debating and arguing, and people need to learn NOT to cross it. Overall I think there are negatives from both sides, which means both of them need to sort their BS out.

 

The thing is that some of the stuff they do is so blatant it is hard to not get mad.
I'll be the first to admit, I recently was part of the problem.
I tried extremely hard to restrain myself from flaming the staff, but with a certain thread and actions taken I sort of snapped.
What really makes everyone mad is that there is no actual action being taken against the offending mods.
I hope we can sort the staff - player battle out soon.

 

Then reason section in the ban list could be a little more detailed but otherwise I think it will be useful.
