I was thinking a while ago to apply for mod but im not active on teamspeak this is because apparently my mom was being a douche so she banned me from any social online things (although im 15) the other reasons are that teamspeak is kinda useless for moderators and players for players it has been grounds of offences teaching kids bad things etc. and for mods its all about hanging in the staff only channels and ignore every thing else.

TeamSpeak is a way to communicate. And it's not about sitting in private channels all day. If you have a question, you can always PM a moderator, and they should respond.
And what would we do for staff meetings? We can't have all of our staff in a Skype call at once. TeamSpeak works great for these sorts of things. I'm not sure how it's useless.

I sort of agree and disagree, however, I do not think that it should be removed as a necessity for mod because believe it or not, I was asked more questions on TS than forums and Ingame combined back when I was mod. I thought this before I was given a staff position but afterwards I realised why.

I do agree on the part about the staff members. Some do stay in afk/mod+ and private channels all day.

TeamSpeak is used for moderators to communicate with our community, it's essential because it's another form of commuinication within the staff. As well teamspeak has many people that spam and ask questions. TeamSpeak might be small but it is a huge way in moderation. Now you might ask why staff stay in the lobby or somewhere all day, for some we have reasons, I stay in lobby all day because I find lots of spammers and questions asked there and I feel I can be useful there, although some don't have reasons I hope it's changed with future mods. TeamSpeak is a big thing in being a mod. If you think it isn't needed tell the admins.

As stated above, moderators use TS3 to socialize with the community. Moderators and Administrators can also judge a player's maturity level from how they act on TS3. This refers back to the point that TS3 is important in the staff application process.

    I highly disagree with this.
TeamSpeak is used to communicate with players of the community. This is where a player can ask a staff member a question or get to know a staff member/player of McBrawl.

What channel was the moderator in?

The last time I saw a mod in a public channel was the second time I ever used TeamSpeak.

He said you can still PM them. You do not have to be in the same channel to PM someone on teamspeak.

Teamspeak is actually useful for moderator if for instance a player needs to know something
For example: A few days ago me and @Lord_Roke were in a private channel and a guy needed help finding his friend. So lord made him join in and helped him ( turns out he didn't even know his friend's ign )

It's good at the moment. Teamspeak is very useful for admins and mods. If someones writing something in chat you don't really see what kind of person he/she is. It's also good if there's a newbie on Teamspeak and he/she don't know how to play, so he/she asks a moderator how to play.

Define many times. Did you message the same mod multiple times ? I'd say the mod was afk because I also asked mods questions and I always got an answer.

No... they're trying to do their best to answer everyones question. Sometimes you don't hear the "ping" and mods can be afk too, they aren't sitting always on their pc and waiting for users who have questions.

Oh I'll ask 3-5 and none of them respond to me. It's because of who I am. They could care less about me!

Teamspeak is a very useful means of communication between staff members and players. In my opinion, Teamspeak is a huge part of moderating at McBrawl. If you see that some moderators aren't using it to its full capacity, that doesn't mean we should remove it entirely.

Ye having Teamspeak is a very important part of being a moderator because it improves communication with players that might have an issue of some sort and that is hard to explain through typing.
