Things Have Changed Around Here

So it's not just McWar and WarZ but also McParty as well. I suppose it's already on the Pvp and KitBrawl server.

 

I try to do my best getting around to each server. With only 3 mods, 2 of which are specifically Mc-Party mods, there is no possible way to keep all of the spammers at ease. We could promote more people to the moderator rank, but most who apply are not ready to handle the position.

 

As he said here, it's extremely difficult for the three of us to handle all 10 servers, with Party being the most popular on Brawl. Getting more applications where people are mature enough and ready to handle the position is pretty difficult, and on top of that, finding people in different timezones may also have to play a role if we want the servers covered most of the time.

 

Set up a new rank: undercover mod
The undercover mod appears as a normal person in the chat but can kick spammers etc.

 

I don't think that would be a good idea. Mods are supposed to discourage players from spamming, not go undercover and surprise them to kick them. If someone is spamming when a mod is offline, just alert the staff of this player and they'll take action if the spamming is severe enough.

P.S. It would be more helpful if we were allowed to report spammers. :Y

I think "Undercover Mod" would be kind of practical. It would be better to have a no spam and no cursing warnings plugin. For example, there would be a plugin the screens the chat for spam and cursing. It would then send a message to the player telling them to stop. Then after 3 warnings they will be kicked.

 

We are trying, but there's not enough applicants who are active in all the required fields to do this. We can't simply find people to staff the server, we need to have actual players rise up and take on authority.

Frankly I don't see the point in an undercover mod. (Overcover?) mods do the same thing an undercover one might do. A mod is supposed to keep people from breaking rules, and when players know there is a mod online, they tend to play nicer, so to speak.

As of the prevailing age crowd you will in general discover that most alike communities are without fail damaging.

Escalating the moderator tally would potentially relieve the current situation but the offenders are overwhelming in comparison to the availability of Moderators online.

 

@Chickenninja15 I will be there for you when I meet the needs for a MCParty moderator. Just hang in there, I even try to help on MCParty with out the moderator rank. Some how some layers listen. I agree strongly we need MCParty moderators fast!

Found another one. Server 3. TURTON360 was spamming. This is good proof we need more moderators on McParty.

 

If I have to I will track down all spammers IRL and slap them in the dam face

The jerks in the community right now, I hope staff could fix this, but I don't really see a way we can stop it, maybe staff has an idea.
