Minigun may need a slight nerf

10 shot kill minigun makes it weaker than the M16 and every SMG. No.
This isn't a "slight nerf", it would be a huge nerf. Even the M1014 would be a more useful weapon.

So you want the SMGs and Lamentation to be better than a donor weapon?

To be honest, you just seem pissed because you got killed by an automatic weapon, which you're automatically assuming is the minigun. It could be the Skullcrusher (kills faster) or any other SMG. Even a sniper rifle. Everything would have to be nerfed if the minigun was this weak.

 

It really won't.
It would rip off players, that's what it would do. The weapon should do what it is advertised to do, not do a lot worse. You have to see this from both sides. I'm a non donor, and I don't like donor weapons because they're so OP, but this makes them totally useless. Donor weapons shouldn't be UP either.

I hope you realize 600 rpm is relatively slow in the world of weapons the honey badger from cod ghosts alone is 800 rpm and the FAD, known for it's firerate is 882 in ghosts and 1016 in mw3


Please research these things before you scream about 600 rpm being too fast a firerate

How in the world did you count 2 shots from a MINIGUN?
For Heaven's sake that thing shoots faster than a human could count!
And if it was ffa, it may have been 2v1, or 3v1, or more.

It could do wonders for it to receive a nerf in the max range, but not a ten-shot kill. If the Minigun has a 600 RPM firerate, it takes one second to fire ten bullets. That means it would take longer than an MSR to kill someone.

It's seems like you're just hacked off because you were killed by a donor weapon.
As brawler said, it could have been a skullcrusher, p90, or a isolator.

Could you please explain why you want the minigun nerfed other than 'it's too op, I was killed 60000 times by it.'?

 

Even simply reducing the damage by half a heart per shot will highly effect the mini-gun. Its fire rate is so fast that they can't really reduce the damage without massive results.

 

Donor weapons are meant to be good, remember that.
