Too complicated. Just let them tag other people, but no XP. Problem solved.

 

That might require some tracker which I'm not sure if Orange knows how to code...

 

Orange'll know how to code it, but it's pointless to spend time and effort + computing time doing something that could easily be solved otherwise.

 

True, just adding a damage tag would work I guess. :V

I 100% Support this idea. Im an archer and people tend to suck up my kills befpre the people explode, its very frustrating when I waste them, I only get 16. Thats not enough! Great job on that idea and very clever.

 

that sounds just perfect for this game
maybe they could also add assist points to show how many times you have assisted in a kill

This would be great for tagging people around, like actual COD.

 

Personal idea. If you damage them by 10 health or more and THEN your kill is stolen, you'll get a kill assist. Would stop OP guns as well as unfair / non-legitimate kill assists. Also, when you get them that low, the player you've damaged has an "Assist tag" (Just a data value given t them somehow) and that is how the plugin knows who to give the assist and kill to. Additionally, to nerf it slightly, this "assist tag" is taken away when the target is damaged by 10 damage points, or after 10 seconds. This means you can't just harvest exp from the system.
