Can you change the URL when viewing someone's profile back to a numerical value instead of displaying their username? Currently, it's impossible to find out what member number they are, and we know a lot of people here use the member number for various purposes.

For example, when you view my profile, the URL will show as https://www.brawl.com/members/F1r3tar/ instead of https://www.brawl.com/members/27.

I believe it's an "update" in XenForo's core, so probably no.

I went on the Xenforo forum, copied a member's url, and this was the result: https://xenforo.com/community/members/kier.2/

As you can see, both the member number and username is displayed. Can we at least display the url like this?

If I'm viewing someone's profile, I don't need to know their username in the url when I could view the username on their profile page. :stuck_out_tongue:

It would make URL members searching easier then memorizing the member #.

Then you should be able to search with the username and the resulting url shows both the member number and username, like so: https://xenforo.com/community/members/kier.2/

You can still find a member's ID by checking out their "Find content" links:

It's an addon we had custom made which allows us to hyperlink player profiles easier.

I think most people are clicking the hyperlink instead of hovering over it, or holding your finger down over the hyperlink for touchscreen users. @Serine1002, don't click on the hyperlink. Instead, do what I stated above. The result should look like this:

That's quite inefficient though. The most efficient way is the way you initially stated. That's also pretty much the only way unless you want to spend 5 minutes/want to give the user a pointless alert.
