Censor the word "Ebola"

    I think the word "ebola" should be censored. Now with the outbreak coming out, I went on mc-war and players were insulting each other like "Username1234 has ebola." It's annoying to see the chat being spammed by "eeebbbooolllaaa" when someone starts insulting someone saying they have Ebola. Ebola is a disease spreading across Africa, and now it's used by mc-war players to insult anyone who makes them mad? I think it should be censored. Ebola is not a bad word, but it shouldn't be mentioned in chat like the examples.

    There are other diseases players use to insult others with (AIDS, Gonorrhea, etc). Why block Ebola when there are thousands of other diseases you can use as a loophole?

    This would just be over censoring, if you can't take the tiniest insult on the internet, you honestly need to go back to the hug box at your elementary.
    Also, has ebola affected you in anyway? Your family? Anyone in your bloodline whatsoever? No? So why would you even bother to take offense to it, besides to be a white knight SJW?

    I was just on, and I kind of agree. I don't have a "disease insult problem" but I do have a spamming problem. they'll probably just keep doing it, but you know, the whole spamming chat with something killing billions of people is obnoxious. :smile:

    I agree with Greedy, it would become over-censoring, that's why there's staff members on Brawl to mute and kick.

    Does it really matter if he does not know what ebola does to you? No.

    I have not really seen anyone use ebola as an insult yet, but if it becomes as big of a problem as noob and hacker calling, then yea. This is however, not a big problem yet so +0 from me.

    As for you guys that say there is many other deasises that can be used to insult, obviously "get fever" is nowhere near as insulting as someone telling you "get ebola and die" or "Get cancer and die". Thats just so balantly obvious that your point is invalid.

    I don't see a reason for the censoring of the word "Ebola". It's not a swear word, So there's no reason to go through the trouble to censor it. Therefor, I think this post is pointless.

    Next time please insert a yes or no poll in posts like this.
