Basic Survival Tricks

Okay, so you've logged on to WarZ. For now, you probably know all about the zones, weapons, armor, and food. However, before you start breaking into a run for indus, nether, or snow, it is important to remember this:

Zone 6 places are NOT the only places that have good loot. Zone 5 also provides some pretty decent supplies, such as most tier 4 guns, iron armor, food, and even diamond swords. Zone 5 places are the plane crash, the north snow city, the power plant, the mansion, and the battleship.

Most tier 3 and 4 guns are very effective. However, I do not encourage using SMGs or assault rifles. Automatic weapons are best used in close quarters, and are extremely inaccurate. Shotguns also must be up close, for the spread will not entirely hit the player from afar.

If you are in danger and are running from diamond armor or partially diamond armor players, use a scuba helmet. If you are escaping through water, the people who are pursuing you will be unable to fire an accurate shot with the water blocking there vision. After traveling to a safe distance, proceed on boat. Do not try to fight if you don't have diamond or full iron, for the barret shots will INSTANTLY kill you.

Safe areas. Unknown to many players, there are some extremely safe locations. If you stay in a house with tinted glass, bullets will not pass through the glass, making it a good shelter. Besides that, ships are very good locations, as intruders will be slowed crossing water, giving you time to kill them, as it is hard to shoot in water.

If you happen to be killed, do not worry. Considering the expansive land in WarZ, you have opportunities to get good stuff without players. However, if you are skilled and are decked out, do not try to hunt new spawns. I find it an extreme waste of ammo and a downfall to the community, considering most of these players have just joined.

Also: On lower player servers, you actually have an opportunity to gear up extremely fast. Just slightly northwest of the golem city is a military base, which is zone 6. Here, you can find guns as good as barretts without having to venture north. However, with higher population servers, this area is clustered for it's accessibility, so be wary if you try to go there on server 1,2, or 5.
