Best 2 Years Of My Life

Disclaimer: I know it's really long, so if you don't have time to read it all, I'd appreciate it if you could at least read the bold bits and their contexts. But if you do have time, it took me ages to write, so I'd appreciate it if you could read it all.

I've been thinking about making this thread for a few days now, as it's coming up to the 2 year anniversary of me first coming to McBrawl, of course, back then it was known was MultiplayerServers. Great name @Chaploo, great name...

And it is also coming up to the 1 year anniversary of me making this forums account and bevoking the person who I am today.

So to kick this intro/anniversary thread off, I'd like to start with A Brief History of Henis.

Now, I've always thought that I came to McBrawl around January/February 2013. But a recent video clip from the ancient era of March 2013 shows that I am already prestige and have the LAW. So, counting backwards, and considering that @THEBORINGGAME10 and @Mrcowlick both state that we first joined in 2012, I'd say it was around this time of the year; November/December. So, to put this into timeline form:

Nov/Dec 2012: Good real life friend jamcamsambro introduces me MC-War. I still remember the first ever game. It was terminal_tdm and it was awesome. I was hooked. But my friend... Not so much. We had normally play hunger games previously and so, this, a server where we couldn't really team... was not ideal. We kind of drifted apart in the following months.

Dec 2012/Jan 2013:mad:THEBORINGGAME10 and @Mrcowlick. I introduced them to the server around this time and while BORING was hooked, Mrcowlick didn't like it at first.

Feb 2013: BORINGGAME comes to my school and pretty soon we're Skyping most afternoons, sometimes with Mrcowlick. In case you didn't know, they're brothers. Pretty soon, MC-War was all we did.

Mar 2013: By an old clip I recently discovered, I have found out by this month that I was level 39 and I had purchased MVP and the LAW. This is the start of my time as a good War player.

Apr-Aug 2013: During this time I get a reputation for myself. I'm the guy who uses LAW a lot, used Skullcrusher a lot and eventually met @mebmatt shortly before August and followed in his style of sniping with the Isolator. I'm also the funny guy, the immature guy, the guy who's an ass to @rainywolvess and @mafiaferret and I'm the guy who doesn't take anything seriously. I'm also the guy who created a couple of mildly successful clans and who applied for mod but failed. I'm also the guy who loves to baffle rude people with his extensive vocabulary.

Aug-Dec 2013: I get bored of my account Followhenis and purchase followhenis2. I start playing on it and get a good KDR. By this time, I'm probably top 20/30 most skilled War players and I followed in @joeymast99's footsteps of using skullcrusher or crossbow most games. I followed his tactics and they worked for me.

Nov 2013: I start playing a bit of WarZ and get to a Zone 6 town (Snow) for the first time ever, with help from @BBSlayer5150. But I still mostly play War.

Dec 2013: By this time, I'm one of the most well-known and chatty people on War. To this day, I still get people on WarZ or fpsHG saying 'hey Henis remember me from War?' This has happened approximately 300 times in my estimation, and I never do in fact remember them. But it wasn't enough for me. I finally decided I wanted to make a difference, I wanted to become a moderator, to help the community. So I got this alt and pretended to be a different person. I remember exactly when I made this forums account, I was at Mrcowlick's house and we made the intro together. I was posing as a 15 year boy from Auckland.

Dec 2013- Feb 2014: I make a reputation for myself as Skulduggery57. I make an application for War in the middle of moving house when I was really inactive (for some reason... silly me) and I get denied obviously.

Feb 2014: I make the This Is The Real Me thread in which I come out as Followhenis and apologise to everyone. I had originally planned never to tell anyone, I thought you all would judge me, but Cow and THEBORINGGAME convinced me and it was definitely the right choice.

Mad 2014: By this time I am mostly playing WarZ and have made a few friends such as @nicolecacola and @Jingca2012. I apply for WarZ moderator alongside @Mrcowlick. We both get accepted during a long weekend when he was staying at my rental house. I remember us both sitting in my Study, nervous as hell, so excited when we hear that we were moved into the Admin channel. I still remember @8vo in his tux. Stay sexy bro, stay sexy. We were interviewed together and we're both accepted.

Apr 2014: I had a great time as a WarZ moderator, I like to think I was a fairly good one. But KitBrawl was released around this time and that was the start of me losing interest in WarZ. I was sick for a week or two during this time and I played KitBrawl non-stop, amassing an insane amount of kills. I also started playing War again and I only played WarZ because I had to.

Apr 12, 2014: Stupidest mistake of my entire time at Brawl. I resign my post and regret it within three weeks. I remember a conversation I had with BORINGGAME as I was leaving his house from a dinner there one night. He told me that I should apply again, putty wants me back as WarZ mod. But I was convinced putty didn't like me and I would appear kinda idiotic if I applied three weeks after resigning. It wasn't even an inactivity resignation, I was just getting bored. I wish now that I had. Out of curiosity, @chickenputty would you have accepted me at that time? I let my pride get in the way of what I really wanted and it's been downhill for a while since then.

April- June 2014: These three months are the peak of my MC-War skill. I applied for mod just two days after I resign, but was denied. During these months I did an experiment which involved some detailed spreadsheets. I found out that I, on average, EMPed every second TDM, and nuked every third one. I was immensely impressed with these results.

June 2014: I meet @NMHRODMANISBEST. We were introduced by @nicolecacola and we spent a few glorious days just playing on Server 2, going from town to town killing people. We had a great run and got Full D for both of us. We became bros and started skyping and we haven't stopped since. This rekindled my passion for WarZ and I left War for good. These days, I still play it occasionally, but only on the side.

Jun-Oct 2014: I am a jackass. I declare war on Team Holy in the stupidest fight since the invasion of Iraq. I apply for mod countless times, for some reason, and I obviously don't get it. I make countless apologies and countlessly **** on those apologies and continue fighting.

Oct 2014: I'm in a skype Convo with @chickenputty in which he states that I shouldn't apply until I age two years. I apply one more time (for some reason...) and then decide to take his advice.

Nov 2014: I get Mrcowlick MVP for WarZ and we start playing again. We make a great team; I'm fairly skilled and he's OK but makes up for it by being a jammy bastard. It brings me back to the good old days of March 2014 when we were both moderator and we made a good team. I realise what a jackass I've been, and surrender the war on Team Holy, for good. I decide to wait until about a year from now (when I turn 14) to apply for moderator again. I realise that I've turned 13 and I need to stop acting like a little kid. I hope that people can forgive me, although I daresay I've used up all my chances.

Tags for people who aren't y'know.. completely meaningless. In order from most important downwards. Obviously, Mrcowlick and THEBORINGGAME10, but there's no point tagging them, I know them in real life.

These five people are just a few of the many people who have shaped my Brawl experience, but I'd say they are the most important.

Matt and Joey; for being my War role models, although you're complete opposites. I have always thought Mebmatt is and always will be the coolest person I have ever met on War.

NMH and edin: For being my WarZ teammates for almost half a year now. I love you guys even though I've never even heard edin talk. And NMH; you don't need no man! You're a strong independent black woman!

And last but certainly not least; Ollie. To be honest, I like your old name better, but that's beside the point. I knew you as a War legend back before I got a forums account but now you are my ultimate forums role model. Everything you do makes me want to be more like you. I relate to you, I look up to you. If you left Brawl I will hunt you down and hit you in the nuts will a wiffleball bat. You know I will.

So to sum up a hella long thread, it's been a great two years here at Brawl. And I hope I'll have another great two!

Anyway, these have been my best 2 years for many different reasons, Brawl is just a big part of it.
