Better spawn points

    The thing I want with this Idea is that you cannot spawn closer than 40 blocks to any other players exept for your team mates. I find it quite annoying to spawn litterally inbetween a team of 4 when I am going solo. This idea Idea basicly prevents that. It isn't fun and fair that you spawn in the same place as another team. This mostly leads to death as soon as you touch the ground.

    Yes please, this will majorly effect spawn killing. (Not saying I'm the victim :stuck_out_tongue:)

    This happened to me, @King_Daan dropped down right next to me and I got one spotted by his drag

    Yes, but in the movie, none of the contestants had any weapons at the beginning - there was no difference in their armoury. There weren't any teams of 4 that 4v1'ed any players at the beginning either.

    There also wasn't any guns in The Hunger Games, so this idea was pretty much ruined as soon as they added them.

    More or less you are both talking about fairness. Since I do not want to get into a big fiasco tonight so I am just going to say this and be done. This type of game needs a competitive edge were in some situations one party will overcome another party to push the game into a finished state.

    This is nice and all. But do you code JavaScript? I have tried. Coding is hard. I think that the plugin devs are working on skywars right now, (fixing bugs, adding new classes, etc.) And from my basic grasp of bukkit code, spawning players away from teams, taking into account team sizes, map sizes, and proximity, would be hard. Also, is it any better to spawn 20 blocks away from a team in a forest than spawning 40 on a flat plain? It is a good idea in theory, but doing it in a fair way would be difficult.

    I am a coder my self, but I use objective-C. Coding id reasonsbly hard, but our developers a great. It should not be to difficult. I have an idea on how it can be done, but I think the devs know how they can add this in a better way.

    In my opinion, FpsHG is more of a battle royale, like Arma 3 game mode. However, better spawns would benefit many players, and put newer players at less of a disadvantage.
