    No it wasn't.
    The recoil was removed because there was a bug in the code that started shooting you UP instead of DOWN and so ALL GUNS could get you OOM.

    He's actually kinda right.
    Recoil is supposed to teleport you downwards but it didn't when it broke. It simply sent you back. With the Model's high recoil you could get OOMOOM
