Global Chat Channels

    The idea with this is to have chat channels that players can speak in on any server. This would allow people to do something like, "/chat join music" or "/chat join homework". Once in the channel, you would see whatever is spoken about in that chat and along with the local server chat (unless you toggle it off?).

    Global VIPs/MVPs could even be allowed to make their own rooms with set passwords. This would allow them to make team rooms or general hangout spots.

    I believe some kind of limiter may be necessary in public chats. Either some kind of slow mode where you can only talk every X amount of seconds and/or limiting the amount of people that can be in a room.

    Overall, the idea would be to create a simple area where players can chat back and forth with each other. It would allow everyone to feel more together and you could even make some new friends. The downside would be possible spam and flaming, could be circumvented with a "/chat kick" vote.

    I'm posting this as a blunt suggestion, as a player would. Thanks.

    It would be kind of useless to only let MVPs and VIPs create private channels. Anyone could go on the Teamspeak server and create a private channel for free, thus eliminating that incentive to donate for this feature.

    Of you want it to be added, why is it not added yet? Your the head admin, your in charge of this stuff. But I think this idea could be cool. :V

    Yes yes yes! This would be so awesome! As an MVP I'd love to be able to create a room and just talk with my team on WarZ or my friends on another server. /tell is difficult when you've got 3 people talking to you :stuck_out_tongue:

    So, it would be a similar layout to TS3?
    i.e. WarZ room, WarZ room 2, room, room (2 people) etc.

    Although no others servers have this feature that I know of so I think there should be a book in the hub to explain the system to people? It might confuse some of them.

    I don't know, it kind of makes the server more like TeamSpeak.
    This isn't really a bad thing, but I like having the normal chat.
    If the emphasis on these chat channels are limited, that would be fine by me.

    This seems very similar to TeamSpeak. Would it replace it altogether?
