    I know that some people will go for the middle as soon as they see an ender pearl in a chest. For me, I take it, loot the rest of the chests, and then go. I think it is a waste to go without seeing what else is in the chests. What do you guys think? (Sorry, no poll, I'm on an iPad right now.)

    Well, I think that of your chest doesn't have good content, then try to get to center as soon as you can. If you have good spawning loot, get your neccesities(bow, potions, blocks, food, etc) then go on a killing spree.

    But you wouldn't know if the chest had good content unless you examine it. So your saying later rather than now?

    I loot my chest and right after i use a enderpearl

    @Ying1161 I do the same, first look in every chest on you're island and then go to middle.

    What idiot would loot an ender pearl then go straight for mid. They are pretty much screwed the second some one with a weapon that does more than a fist attacks them unless they are gunning on the mid chest having ok weapons.

    There are usually many chests in the middle and you often already get a weapon from your starter chests. I always go to middle as fast as possible.

    I know but he said that some people rush without checking the other chests. So if there is not a weapon in the 1st chest then they are gonna have to suck it up until there is one in mid.

    I Loot all my chests then head for the middle with my ender pearl or if I need to build to it. I have learned look in your chests first all of them cause a few times I see an ender pearl in my first chest I am tempted to go straight to the middle. Then I take the time to look in the other one and either find some more armor or a Gapple so loot your island as fast as possible then head for the middle that is my opinion.

    Aren't you going to the middle for the chests... I mean I would loot your own chest before you go there, one because you go there for chests and two you are less armed if you don't check the other chests.

    Yeah, Donald Gannon has a point. Always check both chests at you base then proceeds to mid. Doing so without proper gear can end tragically for all involved.

    I always check the contents of my chests before I go to the middle using an enderpearl. In fact, most of the time I craft a bow and arrows and wait on my island to see if I can knock any bridgers to their deaths.
