    On trouble in terrorist town, the game-mode on Gary's mod, karma is used there for punishment.

    Killing other innocents as an innocent isn't good, and thus you lose karma, dropping below a certain karma level results in consequences, and your karma resets to the default amount after the consequence, and therefore this functions as a robot staff member that's always on, of course it can't answer questions, but it could knock off karma points for insulting, or use of flame related words.

    What makes it so effective on Gary's mod is that it's unavoidable, whereas if this system were to knock off points for using flame words, bypassing what it tracks would result in avoiding it...

    It's a good idea, but... eh..

    I feel like getting banned is a little bit to harsh. How about for what ever server they are being negative on they lose things. On warz it would be gain deaths lose kills. On war it would be loose credits and exp (and maybe kills). On party it would be that you lose coins. that's just 3 ideas e still have more mini games to play, so YOU DICIDE.... (Epic rap battles of history quote)

    NEVER EVER EVER LOWER THE TP COOLDOWN. Its already annoying enough after getting the kill on mvl for him and all his buds to tp to you but luckily its 2 minutes if it was instant then it would really suck. you wouldn't be able to get there loot even before fighting. But good idea...

    I really like your idea but would I also lose karma when I say things like "Report hackers here: http//report.mcbrawl.com " ?

    Overall: I want to see that implemented ingame +1

    I think the karma level would be good for direscteful players.
    Like for instance players in War will have nausea increasing if they continue to have a negative karma
    I don't think they're should be any rewards, it would be overused depending on the reward.

    The main thing that makes this so appealing is that it's so effective in stopping the rude stuff said on the Brawl servers.
    I like what @F1r3tar had for dealing with low negative karma.
    There are a few issues (clans being named words that would lower your karma, etc.) but it seems nice.
    As for prizes:
    • War: Gun camouflage exclusive for some guns (not all gun, just a few), access to colored leather armor in spawn
    • Gun camo could be used for other gun servers
    • All the other servers: Ranks (like, special ranks with colored names and crap), a few benefits like extra warps on PvP or a coin multiplier on Party

    Sounds viable, but I don't see how losing kills on WarZ while gaining more deaths would negatively impact the player. Getting a lower or higher humanity seems to be every tryhard's main goal.

    The reason I suggested banning as punishment because it's more effective in teaching players a lesson. You'd have to be an idiot to continue lowering your karma even though you'd be given a warning that you'd be ban next time. Plus, it's not even a very long ban until after you're warned twice. By that time, the player should've learned a lesson. There's a reason I gave three punishments before a permanent ban, to make the system fair and justified.

    I do get your point. Sounds harsh when you think about it. The karma system could lower different amounts of karma for different actions. For example, sending DoS threats to players would negatively affect your karma way more than excessively raging in chat. Doing minor offenses would only lower your karma a little bit each time.

    Agreed, I think a temp ban is fine but a perm is a bit much.

    If you are idiot enough to lower your karma to the point where you get permanently banished from our servers, it actually isn't that harsh.

    Well, if you got stuff like exclusive gun camo on War, would you reconsider?

    The punishments for negative karma is something I like about this idea very much. Helps make the community better.

    I don't really like this, if you really think about it the chat really isn't that terrible and if you're being offended by being called a hacker or whatever then "you're too sensitive to be on the Internet."
    Bottom line: You really shouldn't reward players for being good.
    (My opinion).

    Or, you know, camouflages in Call of Duty.
    But yeah, basically.
    Gold, urban, desert, etc.

    How would you make that? I would rather like something actually valuable, like maybe golden armor in war for good behaviour, a starter pistol in waez or some other things in other gamemodes.
